Soaking in the sunshine? Sign us up!
A high-set window above the soaking tub brings beautiful natural light into this primary bathroom while maintaining privacy—creating a quiet, spa-like place to unwind.

🍂 FALL DESIGN TIP: Go big with an arrangement.

Start with one statement arrangement that can carry you through the entire season.

This oversized hydrangea + pod arrangement brings autumn warmth from late September through November. Then simply change the accents around it:

🍎 September + October: pumpkins, apples and a charming crow
🌰 November: acorns, pinecones and maybe a squirrel or two

One beautiful foundation. A few simple swaps. An entirely new look as the season changes.

That’s one of my favorite ways to approach seasonal decorating—more impact, less work.

Textures mixed. A 20”brass and milk-glass sconce frees up valuable nightstand space while adding a sculptural shine. We love it paired with an Alder and Tweed Interior Design boucle bed that feels like a hug with its high back and curved sides. A large nightstand, is a HIVE Design Studio must, and this one in white oak is the perfect pairing.

A cozy moment within the Primary Suite.
The stonecast mantle has Venetian plaster above while black herringbone in the firebox repeats a motif used throughout the home. A lux sofa creates the perfect spot to cuddle up with a favorite novel or watch the picture frame TV.

The goal for the primary suite was simple: create a quiet sanctuary. Soft layers, thoughtful lighting and a calm palette give this room a cozy ease.

Beautiful design should work just as hard behind the scenes.

The custom barn door gives the family office flexibility to transition between an open extension of the kitchen and a private workspace. Close it when mom needs a quiet place to work — or when a craft project needs to stay out for another day.

A practical detail that adds both function and architectural interest to the space.

A dedicated workspace for mom, a digital calendar for keeping schedules organized, and plenty of room for homework, crafts and creative projects make this space work for the entire family.
