Drywall is up on this basement build out! It’s crazy how much drywall changes the shape and really gives you a better sense of the size of each room! One of my favorite steps in new construction!

SHOULD YOU CHOOSE SHAKER OR SLIM SHAKER CABINETS? 🤍 based on a real conversation with my client so I’m sharing with you too! Bookmark for later!

One of the questions I get asked most often lately 👇

What’s the difference between traditional shaker and slim shaker cabinets?

At first glance they look similar… but the overall feel of the kitchen can change quite a bit depending on which style you choose.

✨ Traditional Shaker
• Wider cabinet frame
• More timeless + classic feel
• Adds visual weight and texture
• Great for transitional, farmhouse, and warm traditional homes

✨ Slim Shaker
• Narrower, thinner frame
• Cleaner + more modern look
• Feels lighter and more minimal
• Perfect for modern organic and mountain modern spaces

In soft cream tones especially, slim shaker tends to feel a little more elevated and architectural, while traditional shaker feels warmer and more established.

Neither is “better” it really depends on the style and feeling you want your home to have 🤍

Which would you choose: classic shaker or slim shaker?

Do you have basements where you live? This new construction home is all finished upstairs. We got it furnished and looking amazing for my client! Now it’s time to build out their basement 😍

Getting my stretches in throughout the day!!
Also what do we think of this gorgeous runner in my clients kitchen? 100% yes for me, complementing the beams overhead for a balanced vibe 🖤

Sometimes the tree just isn’t right! But this is also the difference between a $150 Amazon tree and a $650 designer tree! When budgets get close at the end we can try the cheaper accessories! Sometimes they hit, and sometimes your client really doesn’t like fake olives!!! I love her for that ❤️❤️❤️

This reeded static film is an affordable and aesthetic solution for enhancing the privacy of glass doors or windows. While it may not be flawless, with minor air bubbles and light gaps possible around the edges, it’s a fantastic option for $20. In my opinion, it’s a win!

When a design board makes it out of the group chat! It’s so fun creating beautiful spaces for my clients 😍
