✨Experimenting with planter bookends✨
I’ll be keeping this set due to a crack formed in the glaze layer after dripping onto my kiln shelf during firing. Somehow it didn’t impact the functionality and doesn’t leak water. I’ll have more sets in time for Pocono State Craft Festival (Aug 22-23 @ Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm, Stroudsburg) 🖤

🔮✨ slooooooowly getting back into the groove of pottery, in between mothering, home repair calamities, illness, and what ever else decides to pop up! “Show up consistently, no matter how small”, I repeat to myself daily. It’s the middle of my slow “off” season..time to photograph my work, search and apply to art festivals and such, planning out the next couple seasons. I have two events booked so far. But in the mean time, I’m prepping to stock stores and hoping to get a small online drop scheduled..! (Mostly ring dishes, mugs, incense burners)
Lmk what art festivals you think I should check out ✨

✨Howdy! I’ve been intentionally MIA working on a lil project for myself. To start the year off right, clear my mind and physical space I began a deep clean of my studio, clearing out and organizing over a decades worth of craft and hobby remnants paired with a decades worth of pottery supplies (omg..this year marks a decade of clay 🤯). This turned into me completely renovating my basement “studio” to feel more like a creative space and less like a dungeon painted with the previous owners favorite color and aesthetic: diarrhea & . Prior experience installing drywall? Nope! But I learned a new skill and made my space more functional ..it’s just not perfect and took much longer than expected, is all 😆 I’m most excited that I now have the ability to hang up all the amazing art I collect from artists I meet while out vending!! Anyway, tonight was my first night back after not doing pottery for a month🫠. Here’s a sneak peek of my favorite lil corner in my studio featuring pottery

I’m also working on designing my logo. It’s forcing me to learn some graphic design and various programs that I always had interest in learning but felt a pinch too intimidated. It’s been fun and simultaneously frustrating thus far. And they say Ai will take over…pffff..learning and allowing yourself to be bad at something is one of my favorite human experiences..but that’s another topic✨
