The Sawdust Shoppe

Finished up some light boxes recently, soon to be on their way home to Brio 33 - Westborough where they will connect them with string lights around the patio.
These are 24”x24”x18”tall, the post is 80” tall.

I included some pics of the other planters we made for their patio as well.

Please reach out if you have an outdoor seating area, patio or pool deck that you could add these to.

A Little Time Away… But I’m Back in the Shop!

Its been a little quite here as I’ve been away from the shop for a little while. I was dealing with a bit of an unexpected heart issue followed by bypass surgery - that will definitely put a few things on pause, but I’ve spent the last several weeks recovering and getting stronger.

I’m happy to say that I’m doing well and I’m finally back in the shop!

It feels pretty good to be back out here. The tools are running, the sawdust is flying, and I’m starting to get back to doing what I love. I’ve got some projects in the works, some new ideas I’m excited about, and of course, more cedar planter boxes to build.

Thanks to everyone who has checked in, reached out, and supported me while I was away. I really appreciate it more than you know.

Stay tuned for some new pics, The Sawdust Shoppe is back in action!

Check out these custom cedar planter boxes with attached trellises! We recently built these for the outdoor seating area at Brio 33 - Westborough.

The goal was to complement their patio while adding a little privacy and a natural touch for their guests.

Every project is a little different, and I'm always grateful for the opportunity to build something unique. If you're thinking about adding custom cedar planters to your home, patio, or business, feel free to reach out.

New Product Drop Tomorrow!
Many of you have asked us to build a larger cedar planter.

Bigger isn't just bigger... bigger has to be stronger.

With hundreds of pounds of soil inside, a larger planter needs to be engineered differently—not just built larger.

So that's exactly what we've done.

Tomorrow we'll introduce our biggest and strongest planter yet.
Stay Tuned!

Meet Daisy!

Daisy loves hanging out in planter boxes so much that her family decided she needed one of her very own. Handcrafted from cedar, built with pride, and dog-tested too!

While most of my planter boxes are designed for flowers, herbs, and veggies, this one is clearly designed for supervising the yard, soaking up sunshine, and judging the neighbors. Stay tuned for an updated pic!

Thanks to Daisy and her family for trusting me with this fun custom project. If you have an idea for a custom planter or woodworking project, send me a message!
