I love, love, love my penpalling hobby! I have been collecting postcards since I was a child. I remember going to my grandparents house to stay for a week in the summer and I somehow got a hold of a series of postcards from the Woodcarving museum in the next town over. I have been enamored with postcards ever since! My love has grown to include stationary, stickers, stamps and anything flat that I can stick in an envelope and mail.

A couple years ago I found a website called Postcrossing where you request an address and send a postcard out with a unique code included. When the recipient enters that code on the website it puts your name/address up to receive a postcard back from someone else. I have received postcards from all over the world and learned about so many countries/cultures that I never would have researched on my own. Plus, it is so fun receiving snail mail that isn’t a bill or advertisement! I strongly suggest checking it out!

Here are my postcards shipping out tomorrow morning! I enjoy sharing MN postcards and writing about what is going on in my life. Maybe someone from a far away country learns something new about life in the US!
