Rain Shine Studio is 11! (Actually it was Saturday, but I was busy all day and forgot.)
I chose this photo because I recently found out it is officially installed in its forever home, along with the additional 6 sea creatures! (If you don’t know - scroll back through my photos to summer 2025.)

Some days I don’t feel like I get as far as I want to as quickly as I want to, but a scroll through my photos reminds me that I’ve been BUSY these past 11 years, there’s been constant demand, I’ve learned & grown in a myriad of ways, and I love my trade.

Thanks to all who have encouraged, signed up, commissioned, and collected along the way.
I’m in deep on planning mode for 2027!

Happy 250th - today I also remember that just because a birthday or holiday happens doesn’t mean we need to pretend everything is perfect or the bad stuff doesn’t exist.
It is a milestone nonetheless.

Also a great day to share my summer pieces!
You may know that I draw my own and I was struck with inspiration this June - adding a few simple designs to the collection!

Call it social time, art therapy, or a personal goal - my only public stained glass day in July is Saturday 7/25 at STEAM Innovation Labs in Sunbury! I’ve got 3 sessions open - sign up for one or multiples - and message me if you want to reserve a design or make something more involved.

I’m honored to be part of Still Blooming later this month at Art Academy of Milton!

Transitions of PA is offering a survivor art programs for teens in the area with local artists as instructors. Still Blooming, in partnership with Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, consists of eight sessions involving different types of art to explore alternative journeys of healing from trauma. These sessions are free to join and, excluding the pottery sessions, you do not need to attend all of them to join one that interests you. Beautiful roses blooming in the summer sunlight are the inspiration for this sun catcher by glass artist Amy Machesic. Amy will be working the gallery Thursday the 25th. This is a great time to stop in the gallery and have a chat with our newest member! 10am to 5pm.
