Well, it’s been a wild year hasn’t it? I’m just going to focus on the good stuff here, for the sake of sanity.
This year, along with being married 20 years (how old am I?!) I had some great milestones:
20 years in the glass trade,
10 years of Rain Shine Studio,
35 workshop sessions,
5 vendor shows, (including the prestigious Lewisburg Arts Festival, a juried fine art show and personal goal)
6 unique cabinet doors,
2 unique window panels,
Year 3 with the Rain Shine Shop in the
Year 2 with
And experienced some extraordinary moments of pride in my students as they soared past what I taught them to create their own work.
And that’s just glass…
I also gained an incredible position on the dream team with the where basically it’s my job to connect people with information, businesses, events, and opportunities.
I got to travel a bit - New York’s Wine Country, PA’s Pine Creek Gorge, and Portland Maine…
I got to reconnect with friends I haven’t seen for years, or states, or miles… and made some new ones!
We celebrated the birth and the expectation of the newest generation of family and friends..
And got to watch my incredible children grow another year. They are almost 8 & 10 now!!
I could make another list with all of the negative, and things that didn’t go right, but I’ll keep that to myself today.
This year I pushed myself hard, and while I didn’t get it all right, I’m really proud of what was accomplished.
Thank you all who have participated along the way!
Cheers to 2026!
