Job in Auburn to replace about 50ft of ridge cap. The roof was a little steeper than I like to work on but using my pitch hopper I was able to keep me and my tools on the roof. The shingles are about 23 yrs old and are still pretty good, but I think the caps were just a 20 yr 3-tab shingle and not the proper ridge caps. Also, the ridge vent was the older style and it is pretty thick, so you have to hand nail it because you need to use 2-1/2" long roofing nails and my nail gun only goes up to 1-3/4" long. The new roll vent is a little thinner and it can be shot in with the 1-3/4" nails. Was a bit warm up there too.

Basket not included, wood must be picked up, and I will help you load into your car, truck or trailer. (Baskets are apprx 1/4 cord mixed hardwood, and each basket includes a bag of kindling.) Job in Readfield yesterday to build sort of a small bridge from the patio door to the driveway. When they get heavy rain, water runs along the driveway and through this area. They said they are happy with this and really like the round metal handrail I added. :)

Job in Auburn to install a couple of new windows in a garage. The old windows were Anderson and they had some rot. New windows are Paradigm vinyl windows with grids to match the house, and one with pvc casing. One of the openings was pretty far out of square, I made sure the window is square and I will trim the window square when I finish the walls inside.

Job in Poland to remove some stairs and build new ones with a lower step height and a wider tread to make it easier for owner to use them. Also added metal handrails to both sides and a small transition step at the entrance. (they wanted a ramp, but it was not in the budget at this time)

Job in Auburn to replace the stairs and make them safer. Nice to get these done, the last couple of days were nice enough to final get to it. I had the job since November, but had to wait for the building permit, then it started snowing and never really stopped. Job done, customer is happy.
