Hex marks the spot.

Two guest baths in the Omaha, Texas barndo, and I let the tile carry both of them. Elongated hex up the shower wall, oversized hex underfoot, and a color story that looks like a creek bed after rain. Nobody's guest bath has to be boring.

The woman behind the barn door.

Hi, I'm Kristi. I've spent years helping people fall back in love with their homes. Sliding doors, wallpapered powder rooms, dining tables that seat the whole family. If you're new here, welcome. If you've been around a while, thank you for staying.

Hanging by a thread, in the best way possible.

Tulum Wellness Spa in Houston asked for a lobby that exhales the second you walk in. Macramé, woven pendants, a living wall, and concrete that somehow feels warm. Your shoulders drop before you even check in.

Dinner's at seven. Don't be late.

A table this long is an invitation, and I set it that way on purpose. Warm wood, a hutch full of the good china, and enough seats that nobody has to pull up a stool.

Porch sitting is a competitive sport out here.

A screened porch with a lake view in Omaha, Texas, and deep seating built for a whole afternoon of doing nothing. This barndo knows exactly how to slow a day down.

Look up. The fifth wall has been busy.
⠀
Floral wallpaper across the ceiling, sage built-ins floor to almost ceiling, and a brass chandelier that looks like it grew there. Our clients' home office got the full treatment, right down to the fluted desk. Working from home, with the emphasis on home.

Mirror, mirror, on the wallpaper.

Powder baths are where I let a wall do the talking. This one from the Woodlock project went textured blue from floor to ceiling, and the silver frame just leans in and agrees.

Round table.
⠀
Marble, brass, and light that moves through the space. The nook invites gathering, and the kitchen is designed to deliver. Clean cabinetry, honest materials, exposed beams overhead. The chandelier commands the room without saying a word. Every detail earns its place. This is design with backbone, made for real cooking and real conversation.
