I have a few weeks break now that summer bouquet subscriptions have ended and fall subscriptions don’t kick off until after Labor Day. So you can get a bouquet (or two) for a DEAL this Wednesday 8/26. Details are on the website!

I’ve got chicken noodle soup on the stove (4 sick kids) and flowers on my counter. Usually fair week can be such a busy week, but we’ve been forced to slow down. Today was a day of naps, audiobooks, and sips of Gatorade. This pace has me feeling ready for fall. Anyone else out there waiting sweater weather?? 🍂

Even when it’s harvested fresh it has this crispy, crunchy texture. It’s so beautiful in dried bouquets or wreaths.

My husband told me today that this is his favorite dahlia. It’s a total winner called White Carnival, but I was surprised because I had no idea he had a favorite dahlia (especially since I don’t have a favorite fishing pole, which might be the equivalent) 😂

Our next painting class with _little.miss.artsy_ is this Saturday, August 15th!

💐We will get a flower ‘recipe’ and go snip blooms in the flower field
🍴There will be some snackies to enjoy
🎨 We will get step by step instruction to paint our flowers
🛍️ There will be an art kit to take home with the vase of flowers and painting
🩷 It will be such a fun time and we’d love you to join us!
