Heidi Kellner is a third generation antiques dealer with a background in fine arts and graphic design. Kellner's grandparents owned a shop in Huntington, West Virginia, and her father, a master furniture maker, has been buying and selling early American antiques for many years. Robert Zordani, a retired English professor and highly published poet, joined forces with Heidi Kellner nearly 20 years a

go. Heidi's lifelong experience in the antiques business and Robert's penchant for research and study make this creative couple's partnership an excellent joint venture.

Many years ago when Heidi and I were just beginning to dabble in setting up at antiques shows, we visited the Heartland show in Richmond, Indiana, and bought this unusual tanware pitcher of probable Ohio origin from Tom Brown, one of the great Pennsylvania dealers. It was the first rare piece of American stoneware to pass through our hands. When we exhibited at Heartland for the first time, we sold it to Rick Feller and Nancy Goff. The pitcher stayed in Nancy’s house until her collection was liquidated earlier this year, when we bought it back.

This morning, we are meeting a client for breakfast and delivering a few items to him.
