This kitchen started as a design project with a client… and ended with someone I truly adore. She trusted me completely, even when she wasn’t quite sure what she wanted.

What started as a kitchen design naturally flowed into the sitting area, dining room, and foyer, creating a home that feels cohesive, warm, and welcoming for their family.

One of my favorite details is the broken cabinetry mix; warm wood lowers with creamy white uppers. It keeps the kitchen light and open without feeling overwhelming, blocked up or forced. Instead, it feels organic and balanced… which is exactly what we were going for. Honestly, this design reflects so much of what I personally gravitate toward: warm, inviting, layered spaces that feel elevated but still livable.

This was such a fun project, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. And even better… I gained a friend along the way.

To Dreamy from Dated

This bathroom had great bones but felt heavy and visually crowded with dark cabinetry, busy stone, and dated finishes. The outcome? … A serene, airy retreat that feels timeless instead of overwhelming. Swipe to see where my clients and I started

I brightened the entire space with:
• Light tile and quartz
• Soft blue walls for a calming feel
• A modern freestanding tub
• Champagne bronze fixtures and lighting
• Clean, simple cabinetry

I just spent the second day at KBIS exploring the newest launches from Caesarstone, Kichler, Daltile and more — and let’s just say the trends are shifting.

Textured quartz with movement, Lighting as jewelry, Tile that feels handcrafted, Warm whites replacing stark white

There’s nothing like seeing and feeling these materials in person before specifying them in client homes.

Getting to know your designer 🤍

I wear a lot of hats. I’m a designer, a business owner, a mom, a dog and cat mom, a cook, an art lover/ painter, a problem solver, and a dreamer. But one of my most important roles will always be helping people feel cozy, inspired, and truly at home in their own homes.

Home matters.
It’s our retreat from a chaotic world.
A place to exhale.A space where we can be ourselves, feel safe, gather with the people (and pets) we love, and create memories.

I’ve officially been an Interior Designer since 1996, consistently, less the two years I worked as a flight attendant. Even then, I was always paying attention to how spaces functioned, how people lived in spaces, moved through them, and what made them feel comfortable… or didn’t.

Design, to me, has never just been about how a space looks. It’s about how it feels as well.

If you’re craving a home that feels warm, personal, lived-in, and supportive of real life, you’re in the right place 🤍

Swipe to see the transformation and before ➡️

A friend’s kitchen started with a sub flooring disaster and it turned into an opportunity to rethink the layout instead of putting everything back the same way. She contacted me in a panic and now she’s over the moon about it.

The biggest change? Removing the pantry and relocating the refrigerator.
That one shift opened the space, improved flow, and made room for an island the kitchen never could’ve supported before.

Sometimes what feels like a setback is really the perfect moment to redesign with intention. When things go wrong in a kitchen renovation, don’t panic. Call a friendly designer who can help. We see the potential you may not. 🤍

And get this.. It was all done via text and email. I didn’t need to be there. She sent the pictures and measurements and we did an E-design! I can help you where ever you are, near or far

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!
