Where would you use this basket? Here’s the finished piece that I started this weekend.

I’m in my Less is More Phase. Simplicity feels so good! Nothing against those that go over the top in their designs but it can be a bit too overwhelming for me. I prefer budget friendly designs that are easy to create but are still elegant in their simplicity.

I am working on a series of what I naming my “Market Floral Basket” designs. This was created with spare florals I gathered from my unused floral stash.

I am starting with this small basket that’s perfect for any setting, dining, coffee or kitchen tablescape or outdoor patio. I added what I am calling a small “Ribbon Twist Tie” to give it a Patriotic touch.

What do you think? Should I keep going?

Do you love garden flags? I love them so much! I have way too many but I love to add them to my landscape and porch decor.

I think they bring a warm welcome to visiting family and friends and you can choose from a huge selection to your suit own taste. I have gotten many compliments from neighbors on my recent displays.

You can be as elaborate or minimal as you choose or what your budget allows. You can go all out and add silk floral wreaths or baskets, swags along with your flag displays or simply add bow.

Note: Some faux flowers are made for outdoor displays and have a UV shield coating. If you are not sure if yours are protected, then you can lightly spray with them with Outdoor Scotch Guard to help protect them. Additionally I always do a faux floral fade test before putting these outside where they may get exposed to sunlight and rain which could potentially stain surrounding areas…If you would like to see how I test mine let me know below.

I almost forgot to show you the finished post and garden flag decor I recently decorated with a patriotic theme.
