💡 Before you give up on that lamp... bring it to us.

You know the one.

The lamp you've had for 30 years.
The one you inherited from your parents or grandparents.
The one with the odd-sized shade you can't find anywhere.
Or the perfectly good lamp that's been sitting in a closet because the switch quit working.

That's the kind of stuff we like.

At Shannon Lamp Service, we repair lamps, make custom lampshades in virtually any size, and have a large selection of shades, glass, chimneys and lamp parts.

And sometimes the answer is simpler than you think.

So before you throw away an old favorite—or spend hours searching the internet for a lampshade that doesn't seem to exist—bring the lamp to us.

We've been figuring out unusual lighting problems in Lexington since 1955. We still enjoy a good challenge.

What's hiding in your attic or closet? 💡

Things have changed in our showroom since we moved to North Limestone in 1964. Here are a couple of old photos that I gave new life.
