More than just a job. 🙏 We recently had the privilege of helping a family in West Ashley prepare their home for a quick sale during a very difficult time.

Their stairs were in rough shape, so we stepped in to rip them out and completely replace them. Big thanks to Jake for bringing us on for this luxury vinyl layover so we could lighten the load for them.

Our thoughts and prayers are with this family.

If you’re scrolling through social media, you’ve probably seen plenty of contractors and DIYers laying LVP directly onto bare concrete. 🫣 Let’s be real: that’s a recipe for disaster.

Skipping a v***r barrier is a fast track to trapped moisture, ruined floors, and a voided warranty.

Here’s the golden rule for subfloors:

🧱 On Concrete: The 6 mil poly goes directly under your LVP.
🪵 On Plywood over a Crawlspace: Do NOT trap moisture between your plywood and vinyl. Instead, that v***r barrier belongs on the crawlspace floor to stop moisture before it ever reaches your subfloor!
