We looked at five possible purchases this week, and found very little of interest to you and us, but we did buy a few smaller items. Also, I had a few sellers come into Mid Ohio Antiques on Thursday, so I did pick up a few things. Saturday will be a day of sorting through purchases I made but was unable to get out on the market. WHO KNOWS what I’ll find while I’m digging?! You’ll be the first to know. Until then, here’s what was put out at Mud Ohio this week. See you soon.

Looked at possible purchases yesterday and today (2). We picked up a couple things, plus I bought over the weekend and at the store today. We look at two more possible purchases tomorrow, so who knows when we’ll have another sale. So, until then, here’s what I got into Mid Ohio over the past few days.

Our buyers are the best! you’ve come in and taken home enough stuff each day that I’ve been able to keep filling my spaces as I bring it in. Today was crazy busy at the store, but fortunately, I was selling and not buying! I sold four musical instruments and both Weller pieces, plus plenty of smaller items. Pictured here are items from our Cook Rd purchase, as well as the box of smalls (lighters, silver halves, some jewelry, and more) I bought on Tuesday. The last several photos should show items I forgot to photo individually, and they should also give a hint as to where in the store items might be. I have some Lexian yearbooks, nice linens, and silver certificates and Federal Reserve notes to get priced and into Mid Ohio. Dora has been pricing like mad, and has some b**r signs, lava lamps, vintage electronic and board games, plus a full variety of other items (some boxes still need to be unpacked). We have two appointments next week, so who knows what they might turn into? Sweet and Sour Thrift is open Thursday-Saturday 10-4:30, so get out there. See you soon.

Busiest Tuesday I’ve had in a while: lots of walk-in items to buy (passed on some marginal offerings!), good sales, and managed to price half of what I took in. I still have plenty from the Cook Rd house to price on Thursday, plus a box of cool stuff to put out that I bought today. NOTE: half, or more, of our interesting Cook Road purchase is out at Sweet and Sour Thrift on SR 603, where Dora is open Thursday-Saturday. For this post, everything pictured is at Mid Ohio Antiques (155 Cline Avenue) open 7 Days a Week until 5pm. Come and get it!

Timing is everything, so here’s a quick post of the larger items from the contents we purchased in a local home on Cook Rd. Smaller items are either already at, or on their way soon, to either Mid Ohio Antiques or Sweet and Sour Thrift. So……..Bear with us as if you see something you’d like, you’ll have to ask for location, as we are each moving things daily. I’ll be making a post tomorrow night, as I’ve already taken in a bunch of items, have dropped more off today, have a car full, and anticipate more purchases tomorrow….all at Mid Ohio. Plus…….Dora is hauling loads out to Sweet and Sour all week, so be sure to check out her store when she opens on Thursday. See you soon; somewhere!

We’ve been on a buying spree, and I’ve taken things in Mid Ohio almost daily. So……before everything has sold, here are some pics of what’s already there (Mid Ohio Antiques;155 Cline Avenue), plus some of what’s going on with me in the morning. The photos of boxes show the mystery boxes I dropped off at Dora’s store this evening……she may not even know what’s in some of them?! However, she’ll be pricing and putting it all out starting tomorrow (Sweet and Sour Thrift; 2293 SR 603; Lucas; Open Thursday-Saturday 10-4:30). Stay tuned as we empty a small houseful in Lexington.

Fantastic first day on Barnard Avenue today! As we closed up tonight, we realized that you really slammed us today, but there’s still enough left to warrant a fun old fashioned DOLLAR DAY! Come on back to 624 Barnard Avenue on Monday, August 17th from 9-2. There’s a bit of furniture and a fair amount of everything else. As usual, everything is a dollar or less…….no tricks or exceptions (if it’s for sale, it’s no more than $1). Sorry about the photos, but we smashed everything into the house before photos. We’ll see you Monday.

Post #1 of 2….Sale is 624 Barnard (off Marion Ave) from 9am-6pm; Saturday August 15th; Dora says we have a million items, and she might not be far off! SO MUCH CRAFTY DECOR pieces parts to complement the usual furniture, bedroom pieces, glassware, kitchenware, tools, shelving galore, plus an upright freezer. See pictures.
