Attention all experienced flat glass window tinters! We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team and become a vital part of our growing business.

As a flat glass window tinter, you will be responsible for installing high-quality window films on residential and commercial buildings, while maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent workmanship, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Install window films on various flat glass surfaces including residential and commercial buildings
Measure, cut and trim films to fit window dimensions
Identify and troubleshoot any installation issues that may arise
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Comply with safety regulations and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in flat glass window tinting
Strong knowledge of various window films and installation techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and instructions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

It's with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear friend and Glare Control, Inc.’s dedicated employee, Scotty Dale Meek. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer just 18 days ago.

Scotty was a pioneer in the window film business, and his contributions to the industry will always be remembered. He served as our Installation Foreman for 27 years. His commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, and hard work were exemplary. Over the years, Scotty managed the largest window film installation projects ever completed in the State of Kentucky. The scale of which required great courage and heroic effort. Ever humble, he made sure the small day to day projects in countless homes and offices were done properly as well. His homespun charm, expertise and attention to detail inspired praise and compliments from scores of our delighted customers. His knowledge and skills were unmatched. Scotty will be deeply missed by his colleagues and friends alike.

We offer our sincere condolences on behalf of the entire Glare Control, Inc. team to his beautiful wife, Kaye and their lovely daughters, McKinley and Brooklyn. We share in your grief during this difficult time and offer our assistance in any manner possible.

Hi Terri ~

We LOVE the window treatments!!
There is a 2 degree difference in my master bath already - which doesn’t sound like much but I can sure feel it.
The family room (off the carport) not only has less glare (great for tv viewing!) but we can honestly say the noise is reduced from the heavy traffic on Tates Creek Road. The guys said that wasn’t a factor but we swear there’s a difference lol !
We’re always excited for summer (pool!) but I can’t wait to feel the difference from the heat on the eastern facing french doors and western facing front door. I could just kick myself for not thinking of having all these windows treated years ago when I knew what a difference it made for our Harrison county properties.

I have forgotten if there is anything special about washing the windows now that they’re treated so please let me know?
