Another Happy Customer! These Pirouette shades are light filtering. Notice how the sunlight shining on the floor disappears as the shade lowers. The shades block out the harmful sun rays while allowing filtered light in. Opening the folded vanes allows view through while the sheer backing offers protection from the sun.
