I will not be able to open this weekend. I’ll be back next week. Next week, June 6 and 7 is Libertyville’s City Wide Garage Sale. So l’ll open with some extended hours. Thursday 12:00-6:00, Friday 10:00-6:00, and Saturday 10:00-5:00.
Reminder, in addition to shop items, I will participate in the garage sale with children’s clothing. These are new or once worn items from infant to size 4 toddler. All items will be $1 or less. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO to the AFRiCAN VIOLET FOUNDATION. They support students and families from Fairfield CSD, Van Buren CSD, and PEKIN CSD. Please check out their website and page. This is not your typical second hand store.

Libertyville will be holding a city wide garage sale June 5th and 6th. This year ALONG THE WAY will partake in the event.
I have over 500 items from newborn size to 4 toddler. I realize children’s clothing is abundantly for sale everywhere. These items are of the best quality, many new or once used. I will set up in front of the shop on those days. Everything in $1 or less. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE AFRICAN VIOLET ASSOCIATION of FAIRFIELD. I will be sharing their page and their website so, if you don’t know about them, you can learn about a wonderful nonprofit organization. What they do is a bit different and is totally free to deserving children in 3 school districts; Fairfield CSD, Pekin CSD, and Van Buren CSD. Please look them up or visit their store in Fairfield. Their website will give you all the background, history, location, and mission.

ALONG THE WAY will open this week with adjusted hours. Mother’s Day specials will pair glitter and fresh flowers for $5.
We will open from 4:00-6:00 on both Friday and Saturday so you can pick up a very simple, fresh, and inexpensive Mother’s Day gift (maybe for some of you “a last minute thought”).
We repurposed the beautiful artwork on bottles and added some sparkle and color rich seasonal flowers. We have many other Mother’s Day gift as well.
