Second test with the RIPPER: pocketing. Leaves a super smooth bottom finish, with the same incredible speed. The sides are a little rougher than a normal bit, but that is expected for the aggressive cutting edge design it has. Even still the small marks sand out really quickly if you aren’t doing an additional finishing pass with another bit.
