Beware! I just had a person posing as a "Lauren Martin" want to buy 3 aprons from me. She messaged me yesterday on Facebook responding to a posting I made last year on my Facebook account where I had a photo sample of an aprons advertising selling these for $20 apiece. She wanted to buy the one I had posted the picture. I then told her I would send her pictures later of the aprons prints I had made up. I sent pictures this morning and "she" chose 3 and wanted them shipped. I received an address in Denver to send them to and she asked how much the cost would be with shipping so I told "her" the total of 3 plus $10. I told "her" i could take a Venmo payment. She then said she could pay me by paypal , or Venmo. I said Venmo. . She sent me messages stating she had posted the $$ and it was taken from her account. She went on to say that she received a message that said i got an email and she wanted me to send her a picture of what the email stated which said I had to send her $300 plus the amount she was paying to set up a business account and she wanted me yo do that. I told her the email looked like a scam. She said that she was trustworthy and to go ahead and she would reimburse the $300 back to my Venmo..
I called her bluff after researching and finding no such person on Facebook and I looked up the address in Denver which also seemed weird. At least I didn't fall into that trap!!!
