Hi to all my friends and family,
Hope this finds all of you doing well!
I had my two doctors appointments yesterday not today as I thought!
Good news is I don't need back surgery, bad news is that want me down another four weeks, which I am not going to fib, I cried like a baby, but they did more X-rays and the breaks are four of the wings that stick out from our spine and they are saying every time I am trying to do things , the twisting and bending and reaching is causing more damage. Of course Steven was in with me and told the doctor that I unpacked about 20 boxes and of course that didn't fly very well. Sew I am stuck for four more weeks and then they will talk physically therapy in about six weeks. Then I was told my labs weren't good, I have to have a iron infusion within the next two weeks and a few other things .
I am literally listening to the doctors now because I need to be up. I have a granddaughter that lives in Florida with three great grandchildren that I have never met and she's getting married in July and I already bought the tickets to go, sew I have to get better and I guess yesterday was a wake up call!!! I have to get well, please all prayer warriors keep me in your prayers ! Love all of you stay strong and healthy and always Happy 🥰💕😘🙏✝️🙏

Hi to all my friends and family,
It's been four weeks today since I slipped and broke my back in four places! I have a sunken living room that also leads to Steven's room as well as the laundry room and when I hit the middle step that has the same wood flooring like the living room and the slippery sock I was skating around on floors, as soon as the two connected I went flying very high in air and came down on edge of bottom stair.
I'm doing really good, I actually unpacked a lot of boxes in the last three days! It was hard at first because I just had my pods delivered and the first two pods went great but then I fell the day after the second two podswere delivered , sew we had to have friends just come and unload everything in the garage until we get better. I see the spine surgeon on the 27th. I'm praying that I am healing on my own and will not need surgery, it doesn't hurt to walk, it only hurts when I'm twisted and bending and lifting things, sew I have step stools and reachers all through out the house on both floors sew I don't have twist and reach. Probably the first time I've listened to doctors orders, but I really want to get my new home set up! I will let you know what the doctor says on the twenty seventh. I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes and calls and all of you that are being patient with me while I'm trying to play word blitz and cribbage, it has really helped pass the time! Hope all is well with all of you!🥰💕

Hi Facebook friends and family,
This is Steve ,Debbie's son. I just wanted to let all her friends know that my very happy mom fell and broke her back in four places this morning! She's in a lot of pain, but time will heal her along with the meds they are going give her. I,or we will update you as soon as we know more. They have her pretty medicated and she is resting quietly right now. Thank you Steve

Hi to facebook family and friends ,
First I want to thank everyone for all the kinds words and then I guess I have been hacked, do not open the news thing that I forwarded from someone else! I can't even remember what it was, but it got me in trouble with Facebook! I requested a review but it takes a couple of days, I am very sorry and pray I didn't inconvenience anyone !Steven and I were both in the emergency room yesterday! He has been in sew much pain these last few days and he has two kidney stones and blood in his urine and his blood pressure was 194/159! They thought he was going to have a stroke, but then his tests came back and ultrasound and they realized how much pain he was really having and then me, woke up with another super bad headache and my left ear felt like something was in it and kept making horrible noise in my head and ear anyway they said my body is reacting to high altitude coming from sea level. That some people actually get altitude poisoning. Sew I have taken two doses of meds and lots and lots of water and I do feel alittle better today but we are just going to TRY and rest in this mess I got going on. That s my story and I'm sticking to it.lol and they got Stevens blood pressure down to 143/129, still not good but better! Sew I just rested today and Steven, bless his heart ,he is trying to pass two stones and get blood pressure under control ! I will update in a few days, again do not open the news thing I sent, been hacked!🥰💕🙏✝️🙏

To all my friends and quilters, my estate sale is over at two pm today! The guys will be here very early tomorrow morning to all everything away! I would rather it go to homes than to go to the dump! Feel free to come by anytime between three and six and you make take whatever you wish!
Still have millions of quilt magazines and books, old knitting machine and old sewing machine, ton of clothes, kitchen stuff, lots of nic nacs, lots of kitchen stuff left, Christmas stuff, collectible toys, some long tables still left and tools and outside stuff! Anyway free for pick up

Hi to all my friends and family!
I just want to update everyone on my move and the estate sale. I have been sew excited about moving until this estate sale and boy let me tell you this has been the second hardest thing I’ve ever done next to burying my beautiful husband! I think I have cried every day for three weeks and driving my son crazy and I am trying to be positive but a part of me feels like I’m throwing the rest of my husband away. The estate sale will start tomorrow morning at 8:30 and will go threw Sunday! I know all you quilters have been waiting for this and there’s lot’s of fabrics and goodies!
You won’t see me , as they don’t want me around and I have a surgical procedure scheduled for Saturday down at Kaiser Morse Hospital and then will be resting all day Sunday!
Then next week they paint, replace the carpet and landscape my pool and then I think we are ready! Remember Klamath Falls is only five hours away sew I will be back and forth!

To all our Friends & family,
With a very heavy heart we lost mom a week ago today on the early morning of the 1st of January. You know her as Elnora M.Whittaker, or MOM or Grandma Whittaker! Mom was a very hard working lady, I met her when I was 27 years old and fell in love with her youngest son Sam R. Whittaker, she taught me what a real mom was all about and taught me to be a better mom and we became the best of friends, for almost 25 years we were inseparable. A lot of you know her from the shop, she used to do quilting on the long arm for about six years and nobody could do binding the way mom could and she did many many quilts for a lot of people! We started quilting together back in 1996-1997! Some of our best memories are going to quilt camp or taking a class together! Then family, she loved her family first and foremost, everything she did was for her kids and grandchildren,she loved teaching all of us how to cook and learn how to can things , especially our tomatoes, how to make all different kinds of Jellies and bake, which I failed that one, lol but she taught her daughter Norma Jean and like her mom Norma can always whip up something very good along with dessert, you see a lot of that in her, she definitely knows her way around any kitchen! I have always admired the two of them every Christmas making cookies together and sew many varieties, totally amazing and very yummy!Sometimes it would take them several days because some doughs would have to be refrigerated for a day or two , but when done they had plates of cookies for friends, family and neighbors!
Sew many wonderful memories of her that I will take to my grave with me, but she is no longer in pain and she is now with her husband as well as mine her son! Rest in peace pretty Lady Elnora M.Whittaker

Good Evening to Everyone,
Giovoni Samuel had his surgery today and it went very well the doctor said! We will know more in the next few days and if everything goes the way it’s supposed to , the doctors and nurses will be weaning him off the ventilator! My granddaughter was sew nervous today, I really wanted to go with her sew that I could give her support, but she wouldn’t let me because of my health and I would of had to sit in the car, which I was ok with, I have done it a couple of times, but only for a couple of hours, not several! But she stayed on the phone with me the majority of the time and just said grandma I am sew nervous and I said I know baby girl, that’s your little boy in there! She is going to be such a wonderful mother, I am sew proud of her! Thank you to everyone for the prayers today, as I told her after it was over, see honey what the power of prayer warriors and prayer can do! I love each and everyone of you! Have a good evening and enjoy the rest of your week 🥰💕🙏🎚🙏

Hello again to my friends and family,
Well I have been getting calls wanting to know about the shop and myself and I realize that I have said very little about my situation because I am trying to help my granddaughter and her son the best I can and when I am posting about them, I don’t want to take away from the situation sew I don’t talk much about myself! As a lot of you know I have been ill with severe pain since Christmas! Yes I should of gone to the doctors sooner but I was behind on quilting and needed to get quilts done for Christmas! I had my bladder surgery done and everything was perfect, but I was having severe pain on the left side and often on the right side also! After many appointments and tests they finally sent me to a group of surgeons who said I had hernias on both sides,sew I had surgery 7 weeks ago today and the hernia on the left side was a femoral hernia and they had not seen one this bad with such a big hole in it, surgery was supposed to be an hour and ended up being 3 hours! Long story short I still have a crippling pain on the left side and I am scheduled for another surgery Saturday June 4th as a emergency surgery and I am also on a cancellation list to get in sooner if someone else cancels! They are thinking this big lump is actually a plug that was put in me in 2011 for a hernia that they no longer use! I just want it gone sew I can get back to my life! I feel very very blessed that I have my sister and brother living with me now because I have only cooked twice in six months, they feed me and take very good care of me and I really don’t know what I would of done without them! I love you J and Dan! Thank you for loving me 💕I thank God every day for us finding each other like this!Sew I do all my pre op next Thursday and I am asking for prayers that everything gets fixed right this time, my doctor said that they have to open me up this time, but it’s will be worth it ,for all of this to be fixed! I opened my shop August 10,2010 and if everything goes right , I will be reopening my shop again Thursday August 11, 2022! Again I thank everyone for all the love and prayers and support that you have shown for me and my granddaughter and family, I can’t thank you enough except to say that I love you and cannot wait to be among the living again! God bless!

One more thing I want to share that is sew precious and brought beautiful tears to my eyes, my granddaughter was able to hold her son for the very first time this evening and seeing that beautiful smile on her face when she got home and listening to her talk about how it felt to hold her little bean was amazing, she really really needed that as her doctor called this morning and they are doing the heart cath on Giovoni Samuel tomorrow afternoon, sew again prayer warriors, let’s get this prayer chain going for Giovoni and I will let you know how it went as soon as possible after they are done!
