Occupying one corner of the lower level of the new Victoria National Clubhouse, the Owner's Lounge operates as a private retreat designed around the rhythms of a small group — a golf simulator, pool table, and social seating arranged within a single, cohesive room. The warm wood ceiling plane draws the space downward, establishing an intimate scale that contrasts with the more expansive volumes of the clubhouse above.

The space’s reduced volume and material palette — consistent with the rest of the clubhouse — lends the space a warmth that makes the amenities feel embedded in the room rather than simply placed within it. The result is an environment that encourages guests to settle in: a tucked-away space where the architecture itself signals that this unique room belongs to a select few.

Forty-five years ago, we planted our roots in the Haymarket because we believed in the future of downtown Lincoln.

Over the decades, we've had the privilege of helping shape its evolution—from our own office, one of the first new buildings in the district, to projects that supported its continued growth and transformation. The Haymarket Parking Garage, the Railyard and Canopy Street, and the replacement of the train station as part of the Canopy development each played a role in creating the vibrant downtown experience that residents and visitors enjoy today.

As we celebrate 45 years, we're proud of the partnerships, vision, and community investment that made these projects possible. We're honored to have helped shape a district that continues to bring people together.

Café Vic is designed as a mid-round gathering point on the Victoria National Golf Club course — a compact facility organized around three distinct elements: a full-service bar, a self-service food and beverage island, and a feature candy wall that puts a broad assortment of confections within easy reach of guests.

Each of the three areas is finished within a shared material palette, establishing a visual consistency that unifies the space despite the variety of program it accommodates. Warm wood tones, dark stone surfaces, and open millwork shelving recur across the bar, service island, and candy wall alike — creating a space that reads as a single, cohesive interior rather than a collection of discrete service counters. The result is a halfway house that supports the functional demands of a busy golf course without sacrificing the material quality carried throughout the rest of the clubhouse.

It has been a pleasure to work with the Dormie Network on such a great project. Follow to learn more.

We're excited to highlight our ongoing collaboration with Dormie Network at Victoria National. This project represents a thoughtful blend of hospitality, craftsmanship, and place-making, and we're proud to help shape spaces that will enhance the member experience while honoring the character of this exceptional destination.

Positioned at the center of the facility beneath lofted wood ceilings that draw in natural light and frame views across the course, the new primary dining space serves as the programmatic anchor of the new Victoria National Clubhouse. Its generous volume transitions to the adjacent bar, where a more intimate scale and illuminated feature wall — designed for the display of regional spirits — offer a deliberate contrast to the openness of the main room. The sequence of spaces reflects a careful calibration of proportion and material, grounding the clubhouse in both its landscape and its purpose.

We're grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Dormie Network on this exceptional project and look forward to sharing additional perspectives on the new Victoria National Clubhouse.

Every great organization starts with a vision.

Forty-five years ago, our founders established Sinclair Hille Architects with a commitment to meaningful relationships, thoughtful collaboration, and exceptional design. Today, that foundation continues to guide our work.

As we celebrate 45 years, we're reflecting on the legacy that brought us here and the future we're building together.

Creating the Extraordinary, Together.

Today, we officially begin celebrating 45 years of Sinclair Hille Architects.

We’re kicking off our anniversary campaign by sharing a recent conversation with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce about our history, our people, and the projects that continue to inspire us.

Over the next several months, we’ll be sharing stories from our founders, past and present leadership, and iconic projects that helped shape our journey over the last four and a half decades.

From transformational community spaces to meaningful client partnerships, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our story.

This campaign is a celebration of where we began, what we’ve built together, and the exciting future ahead.

45 years later, we still believe in:
Creating the Extraordinary, Together.
