Here’s how to request an art commission from me using this crochet axolotl plushie purchase as an example:
1. The customer messaged me a reference image of their request and when they need the project completed.
2. I let the customer know I had availability and the skills needed for the project and gave a price quote.
3. The customer agreed to the price and gave desired details (color, size, etc.) and gave me a deposit (options cash/ CashApp, PayPal, Venmo) to start the commissioned project.
4. I completed the project and sent a video to the customer to verify it is complete as requested.
5. The customer sent the last half of payment and I shipped the finished product.

I don’t need a pattern, I freestyle all my crochet pieces with reference images only :)

It’s a wrap on the Peoria State Hospital Spring Bazaar 2026! Two days filled with interesting product and artisan vendors, delicious food vendors, and fascinating hospital history are complete, I look forward to returning in the fall for the Peoria State Hospital annual Dark Fair 🔮

Thank you to Sarah and Mike for donating their time to my art so clean up is quick and I get appropriate food, drink and bathroom breaks 🖤

The May Day Festival- A Beltane Celebration was the most marvelous way to commence a full upcoming art fair schedule 🎨 Bloomington has an extraordinary community of creative people, and I’m grateful to meet more and more of youse 🖤

Next up: the Peoria State Hospital Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday, May 2nd and 3rd from 10am-5pm. I’ve replenished my sold goods with and even bigger variety than before in earplug and bone jewelry, secret stash books, and woodland oddity displays ✨Don’t forget I offer face and hand painting along with henna tattoos- come get yours this weekend at the annual Peoria State Hospital Bazaar in Bartonville, IL!

I will be giving henna tattoos as usual, plus cheek and hand paintings as a NEW additional service! I will have all of my NEW and existing handmade art for sale, including embroidery, pins, original and printed artwork, flower presses, treasure boxes, beaded and bone jewelry, hollowed out secret stash books, sun catchers and much much more ✨ I hope you check it out, see ya there!
