Humor me🙄 (Heather) for ONE MORE sneak peak of our Central Illinois Shop Hop Quilt. We're not allowed to post the front (on strict order of the Shop Hop Police 👮🏼‍♀️) but here's a glimpse of the quilting and the Improv Party happening on the back.

Truth be told, the Improv Party was strategic. It let us get away with 4 yards instead of 6 for the backing. (~84" long.) PLUS, who could let that big pile of yummy scraps go to waste?!! WIN-WIN! 🏆🏆

I can't wait to share it with all of you BUT--at least for the next couple weeks--you can only see it if you visit the shop in person. Sooo...We'll see you soon! 😊

Quilting is almost complete on our Central Illinois Shop Hop quilt! I have to say, folks--I absolutely LOVE IT!!! 😍 I'm so excited to get it off the frame [bind it 😐] and show it off as we kick-off the Shop Hop on Friday! 😃

Our quilt is based on the shop hop's exclusive pattern, Land of Lincoln by Renee Den Beste of My Beste Quilt Co. We've given it our own flair to make it a unique celebration of America's 250th. I can't wait to see what the other shops have created with the same pattern. See you Friday!!!

Choosing fabrics doesn’t have to be overwhelming… we promise!
One of the biggest challenges we see is second-guessing what works together.
A simple trick we always recommend:
👉 Start with one fabric you love and build from there 💙
Pull colors from that piece, mix your lights and darks, and don’t be afraid to trust your instincts!
