A small business may have a name on the sign, but it is never built by only the people inside it.

Barnwood & Leather has reached seven years because customers chose to shop small, families offered their support, friends encouraged us through every season, and people continued to tell others about what they found here.

Every visit, purchase, recommendation, shared post, and kind word has mattered. Those moments may feel small to the person giving them, but together they are what allow a local business to keep growing.

As we get closer to our seventh anniversary, we simply want to say thank you. We are deeply grateful, incredibly blessed, and excited for what is still ahead.

Not everything in the showroom requires measuring a room first.

Tucked between the furniture are clocks shaped like biplanes and bicycles, a rotary telephone, old gas pumps, and plenty of other pieces that are difficult to describe until you see them.

They make memorable gifts for the person who already has everything, but they are also perfect for that shelf or empty corner in your own home that has never felt quite finished.

Come take a look. You may leave with something you did not know you were looking for.

A sleeper sofa should not make you choose between a comfortable sofa and a bed you would actually offer your guests.

The new SLOFA has arrived at Barnwood & Leather, and it is designed to do both jobs well.
As a sofa, it provides deep, supportive seating for everyday use. When guests arrive, remove the back cushions and use the one-step opening mechanism to reveal the mattress. The seat cushions stay in place, so there is no pile of cushions to move or store.

SLOFA is made in the USA and can be custom ordered in:

- Nine different styles
- Full, queen, or king sleeper sizes
- Hundreds of fabric and leather options
- Standard supportive foam or upgraded Serene® Foam mattress
- Multiple configurations, including select chaise and storage options

Come sit on it, open it, and see why this is not the sleeper sofa you remember.

Seven years ago, Barnwood & Leather opened its doors with a love for well-made furniture and the hope that people would appreciate a different kind of furniture-shopping experience.

Since then, this small business has grown through long days, lessons learned, faithful support, and more meaningful relationships than we could have imagined when we started.

Later this month, we will celebrate seven years in business. Before we do, we want to take some time to recognize the people who made those seven years possible.

To every customer who walked through our doors, shared our name, returned for another room, or encouraged us along the way, thank you. We feel incredibly blessed to still be on this journey.

Settling for “almost right” gets expensive when you are furnishing a room.

A table that is six inches too long can make the entire space feel crowded. The wrong fabric may not hold up to children or pets. A beautiful chair may still be uncomfortable if the proportions are wrong for the person using it.

Many of the pieces on our floor can be changed in size, wood, finish, fabric, or leather. The showroom model is often the starting point, not your only option.

Bring your measurements, photos, and the problem you are trying to solve. We will tell you honestly what can be changed.

The space behind your sofa could be doing a lot more.

This solid-walnut sofa bar table turns an often-wasted area into a place for morning coffee, homework, working from a laptop, game-day snacks, or extra seating when the house is full.

Built-in USB charging ports keep phones and tablets within reach, while the narrow counter-height design adds useful surface space without taking over the room.

This sofa bar table is available on our showroom floor now. If you love the idea but need different dimensions, we can help you explore the custom sizes and finishes available to order.

Stop in, pull up a stool, and let us help you find the right fit for your space.

If there is a tangle of cords and a small mountain of remotes living next to your television right now, we would like you to see what just landed on our floor. 🔥

This custom TV stand has a fireplace insert set into the middle of it and cabinets and drawers on either side for all of it. It is solid wood, American made, and built to order, which means the size, the wood, and the finish are yours to pick.

If you want one in a different size or finish, we can order it any shape and size.

Mike has a system for picking out a chair, and it mostly involves sitting in every single one 🛋️

That is genuinely the advice too. A chair can look right in a photo and feel completely wrong the second you sit down in it, and where the arm hits your elbow will tell you more than any description ever will.

Come try a few and see what he means 😊

If you have ever slept on a sofa bed and regretted it, we have good news! Slofas are not what they used to be, because these are built to be sat on every day first and slept on second, which is the opposite of how the old ones were made. This one opens and closes with one hand, and you can order yours size full through king in almost any color, in fabric or in leather.

Come sit on one and see how much has changed, you’ll genuinely be surprised.
