Today, on President’s Day, we reflect on the critical role museums play in fostering civic engagement. Museums provide a space where history, democracy, and public discourse intersect—filling the gaps where traditional education may fall short. Grappling with complex issues alone can be overwhelming, and museums allow us to explore together, collectively reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

For nearly 14 years, Luci Creative has designed exhibits that illuminate the responsibilities of citizenship and the ongoing work of strengthening our democracy. We are grateful for the chance to collaborate on projects that both educate and empower communities to engage with history and shape our future.
