A couple of quilts for a client. The first one is lovely and colorful! I love the birds and the graphic nature of the fabric choices. We chose a pale coral color thread that blends with the colors of the top. Due to the busy nature of the fabric it’s hard to see the design on the top. But the back is a cream colored minky and quilting pattern shows up very nicely.
The second one is a simple baby quilt. We chose an argyle pattern and it adds a fun texture to the quilt.

Beautiful handmade Dresden plate quilt block quilt that a client brought me to quilt. So fun to see all the fussy cutting she did on her blocks! I have not had the ambition to do much hand work. But I definitely admire those that take on the challenge. She wanted it quilted on a soft minky backing. I always love the texture it creates. This is a nice heavy quilt that I hope she enjoys.

Finished up two quilts that are a personal project for me. Because I will gift them. I have already washed and dried them. As a quilter, when you gift a quilt do you wash and dry it before you gift it? Sometimes I have and other times I haven’t. They turned out bright and cheery. I hope the recipients are happy with them.

Finished this beautiful quilt for a client. I love the neutral tones to this quilt. Also she chose to use some woven fabrics so there is a wonderful added texture to this quilt. Keeping with the neutral theme we chose a nice creamy colored thread. The quilting is a great loops and design pattern that really finishes the quilt nicely.

Finished up the quilting on this sweet quilt from a client. I love the scrappy hearts! She has been working through her stash of fabric and also pieced the back. We chose a nice modern take on an orange peel pattern for the quilting. All in all it has come together beautifully!

Beautiful quilt from a client. I love the color combinations she chose. I also love a quilt that has a secondary pattern when you combine two blocks like this quilt. We talked through what quilting she would like. She wanted flowers with out any swirls. I think this quilting pattern is lovely!

Finished the quilting on this beautiful quilt for a client. I love a scrappy background on a quilt and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint. We chose a modern wave pattern and I love this pattern on patriot style quilts. It adds a lovely texture. Hopefully my client is happy.

After a week away from quilting, I finished this darling quilt for a client. She told me she had started it years ago, in fact some of the background fabric is a white on white that has the year 2000. So needless to say it was wonderful to quilt it for her so it can finally be finished!! We chose a lovely all over pattern that gives the quilt a wonderful texture. It has a timeless feel and I hope she loves this quilt for years to come.

Finished up two lovely quilts that are almost identical, for a client. They have a fun scrappy pink and blue pattern. We chose a light blue thread and a fun looping pattern that adds a wonderful texture to the quilts.
