What is Zaβatar?
Usually Za'atar is made of dried oregano, thyme, marjoram, sumac and toasted sesame seeds. It also may contain salt, dried orange zest, dried dill, or the wild herb zaβatar. Actually, Zaβatar Spice Blend is very popular with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking. It is rich in bold flavors, has great appearance and even enhances some benefits for our health--from relieving inflammation to improving cognition.

Instructions for Za'atar Chicken:
If you want to get the real taste of Zaβatar Spice Chicken, you have to maintain the following instructions: First of all, in a mixing bowl, you have to blend the marinade ingredients and keep the chicken in a deep dish spreading salt and pepper and covering with the marinade. To ensure good flavor, you have to work some of the marinade underneath the skin of the chicken breasts. 2ndly, Cover and keep the chicken in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight. 3rdly, you should preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
4thly, you can shift the chicken breasts and the marinade to a baking dish or a cast iron skillet. After that you can sprinkle with a little more sumac and paprika. In the meantime, you have to sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the za'atar Spice Blend , and take another tablespoon of za'atar to act underneath the skin of chicken breasts. You must have 1 tablespoon Za'atar Sumac left for later.
At this time you have to cook the chicken in the heated oven for 35 minutes or so. Finally, take away the heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. The chicken is ready to serve and in order to get extreme flavor, you can sprinkle it with a little more sumac,the remaining za'atar Blend Spice the toasted nuts and fresh parsley.
