Here is the latest project that I've been keeping myself extremely occupied with. It's a 3d printed and custom painted version of The Settlers of Catan board game! Most all the parts were found on Thingiverse, designed by others. I'm just printing and painting, but holy cow this is a workout!
I've been working on this for about two weeks, day and night but I'm nearing the end.... Soon.
Final pics to come in the future, or past whichever happens first 🤷.

The signal’s almost here.
Sunday night in the time machine; the galaxy hums, the circuits glow, and I’m just waiting for the darkwave to start.
It’s been months of shaping, testing, and dreaming, but the Intellivision Cooling Companion is finally ready to launch.

This little fan started as a ritual, a way to keep the old machines alive a little longer.
Now it’s a real artifact from another timeline, built by hand and powered by nostalgia.

Here’s to the glow of vintage screens, the hum of circuits, and the joy of keeping history cool.

In branch '82uX, Mattel shipped the Intellivision with a small fan to keep the machine from drifting into thermal delirium during long play sessions. Our timeline never got that luxury. So I built one.

This module sits quietly on top of the 2609, pulling heat out through the vents and keeping the system anchored in this reality just a little longer. No soldering, no rituals, no dimensional paperwork. Just plug it in and let it hum.

It’s officially live in the shop now.
If your Intellivision has been running hot, wandering off, or whispering about “the other side,” this might help.

Another Sunday night in the time machine.
The circuits hum, the galaxy drifts, and I’m just sitting here with a book.
The music’s low, the lights are soft, and everything feels like it’s waiting for something to happen.

Maybe that’s what these nights are for
to sit still in the glow,
to let the boredom breathe,
