It’s been some frustrating days. This little cutie game me FITS with the head. The pattern was off. Ended up contacting the seller and she admitted that the original head was for a horse. The sizing was nearly twice the body size. She sends another pattern and that wasn’t right either.

So I’ve spent days reworking the head about 80 times until I developed my own. Here’s the final result!

She’s made from baby velvet so she’s almost like petting a newborn goat.

I had a custom order placed for a goat. Specifically a Boer goat. (Photo reference provided by my client at Nellie's Knoll Creamery) I found this amazing baby velvet yarn that feels as soft as a dried off newborn to use.

It’s taken me some experimenting with the nose area for me to get it the way I thought it should look based off the photos. The safety pin stitch makers are where the eyes will go.

This one is extra special for a gentle man that loves goats. I’m so honored to be making something so special for him.

Happy to report that Pansy the Pig is complete and waiting for her new home. She is available!

She’s approximately 12” tall. She’s much more enjoyable than a real pig! She’s made from Bernat blanket yarn, which is super soft and super loveable. She’s machine washable. She has safety eyes that are secured tightly in place.

She requires no food. Only lots of snuggles and love. Shes a one of a kind looking for a special home.

She’s available for $40 pick up. We can hire a trucking company to deliver her to you directly for a few extra dollars.

Just PART of today’s haul! Got some awesome deals at Joann’s and found a color I needed to make real jersey colored cows!

All of these colors plus 10 more skeins of other yarns will become more animals and another 8 skeins to become a sweater!

The best part about doing this is that I get to share my joy of making things with my daughter and my DIL.

Today, I’m headed to go yarn shopping for new custom orders with my DIL. There is no road to recovery at this point. I’m just so glad to be able to play with strings and make things for others!

If I remember, I’ll snag a photo during our adventures to share later.
