It’s a great day for a ribbon cutting! The Brookland Intermediate School opened its doors today to celebrate the new school year and this beautiful new space! We have loved designing this school and can’t wait to see all the happy faces on the first day of school next week. Go Bearcats!

We're honored to serve St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville as the vision of their new church will some become reality! We celebrated the groundbreaking yesterday alongside members of our design and construction team, parishioners, clergy, and the building committee. The ceremony began with a special service in the existing church followed by a procession across the parking lot to the location of the altar in the future church building.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the building committee as this new church takes shape during construction.

We got out of the office and did a tour of the almost complete Galloway Hall at last week! This two-story Tudor residence hall was the first building on the Hendrix campus specifically constructed to serve as a women’s residence. It was dedicated in 1933 and named after Galloway Women’s College, which merged with Hendrix that year.

Galloway Hall is the third Heritage Residence Hall on Hendrix’s campus that WER has been a part of restoring and renovating. Both Galloway and Martin Hall, which WER completed in 2023, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are excited for Galloway to open in August and share more with you about the project!

We were able to bring four students on the tour with us – sharing our passion for our field with the future generation is something we love to do!
