My week in a nutshell. Looking forward the weekend. I’m beat.
1) three trips to Brooklyn and one trip to PA this week.
2) Etsy headquarters in dumbo
3) learning new things
4) mah Jong is pretty
5) artistic tile and their mosaics
6) artistic tile and their dimensional tile
7) under a blood red sky
8) Arkada custom interior moldings
9) that bas relief I can’t….
10) a ceiling medallion headed your way Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse
11) Does my frieze work with my wallpaper? (In other words, the things that keep me up at night)
12) we can keep the trim consistent without blocking the return vent. This is such good showhouse news.
13) Like a dressing room but my own little apt in Brooklyn that I get to obsess over.

Brooklyn showhouse on the brain. We’re in Design News Now Brownstoner and Business of Home | BOH with Dennis Scully so exciting. This next month is going to be bananas! Stay tuned.

Brooklyn showhouse flatlay…we have the design, now we’re nailing down the details…trim, accessories, art, shipping and installation schedule. Once that’s done I hope I can sleep past 4:30am.

Sat in this room on Monday. Installed this room on a Monday 10 years ago. It’s worn well. That’s the thing about good design, it’s always a good investment.

Always edited, always refined, always delightful, always one of a kind. A living room that’s sculptural and grounded but happy, a guest room that’s bright and cozy but happy, a dining room that’s elegant and color positive, an entryway that embraces fluidity. A home that makes you smile when you walk in the door and makes your guests ooh and ahh. It’s colorful. It has personality. It’s artful. It’s playful but never over the top. It will always be one of our faves.

Scroll to see the before and after of this historic home. Over the hundred years it existed it had gone through a series of unfortunate do it yourself renovations. Silverwing made sure it got the love it deserved and that the kitchen fit this growing family, which at this point I think is fully grown, the bathroom was the perfect place for bath time and the hallway was the beautiful bridge between the two.

This Westfield NJ homeowner chose us specifically because she wanted more whimsy in her home. We added color, personality and special touches. Theres a gallery wall, a concave mirror that’s a little fun housey and interesting light fixtures to infuse her home with talking points and smiles. Because if you’re not happy at home, what’s the point?
