This has been under wraps for a little while. We produced a video to take you inside a bit of our process, team, and projects at TAB. If you've ever wanted a deeper look inside some of the work we do, this is it.

We're so proud of our amazing team and the work that they do, thankful for the incredible partners we get to work with, grateful for our clients and their trust in us, and excited for this chance to share a look inside our world, with you.

There’s something about this lake house loft that just feels like it's made for the kids when they come to visit.

Tucked upstairs beneath the warm wood ceiling, this space gives them a place of their own to sleep, hang out, and settle in for the weekend, without feeling disconnected from the rest of the house.

It’s cozy, practical, and just a little bit tucked away. Exactly what a lake house needs for when family comes to stay.

Not every inch of a bathroom vanity needs a cabinet door.

Two substantial gray sinks sit on a long run of warm wood. Wall-mounted faucets leave the surface clear. Drawers land where they are useful, while open bays keep the vanity from becoming one heavy block.

Open wall shelves repeat the wood, and the oversized mirror pulls the black-framed shower into the view.

Storage matters as much as knowing when to stop adding storage.

This could have been the space you hurry through.

Instead, the wall steps back and goes dark. Six bold photographs get their own light. A narrow table and baskets give the passage a practical job without crowding the walkway. Across from it, a heavy wood post and ceiling bring warmth into all the black and white.

Nothing here asks for a lot of floor space. It just gives a necessary in-between space a reason to exist.

Hallways count. You paid for those square feet too.

Storage can hide things. Or it can tell people who lives here.

This dining-room hutch holds colored glass, platters, china, serving pieces, and the things that make setting a table feel personal. Glass doors keep the collection visible. Interior lights turn it into part of the room. Closed cabinets below handle everything that doesn't need an audience.

The green cabinetry also carries the kitchen color into the dining room without making the two spaces match piece for piece.

If you have beautiful things, use them. And give them somewhere beautiful to wait.

A new house does not need 'new' everything.

Clean cable railing and quiet walls make room for a grandfather clock, a wood secretary, a small rug, modern art, and pieces that did not all arrive on the same truck.

Older stately pieces keep a new house from feeling installed. Simpler architecture gives them room to look intentional.

What's a curated piece you'd design a room around?

Be honest: Are you taking a stool at the bar or disappearing into the w**e room?

The bottles get all the attention but the traffic pattern is why this bar works.

Because the person making drinks has the sink, refrigerator, counter, glassware, and bottles, all inside one compact work zone, and guests sit on the other side. Then the w**e room opens just off the end, so nobody has to squeeze behind the bar to find another bottle.

A good bar is stocked for the party, and designed to prevent a traffic jam.

An entry should give you a map of the space.

From the front door, you can see where the kitchen begins, how the stair moves upstairs, and where the living space opens to the side. The house explains itself.

Then the wood door, stair treads, beams, and furniture keep your eye moving from one space to the next.

A good entry is more than a pretty table. It should make arriving feel easy.

This room is doing at least four jobs: pantry, laundry, cleanup sink, and a home for the small appliances that would otherwise live on the kitchen counter.

Open shelves keep groceries visible. Closed cabinets hide all the supplies. A long counter gives folding, sorting, and unloading somewhere to happen.

The rooms that absorb the daily mess are the reason the pretty rooms can stay pretty.
