This is for all the other 80’s kids that still love Star Wars…
I thought it would be fun to ask Yoda to describe macrame…
Patience, you must have: Fast, it is not. Loop by loop, a macrame creation grows.
Balanced, the design must be: Left cord, right cord, meeting in harmony like the light side and the dark.
Strength from within: Weak, a single thread is. But knotted together? Strong, they become.
Mindful, the maker must be: Focus your mind. Clear your thoughts. A single mistake, and untangle it, you must.
Bound by strings, the cosmos is, yes. But bound by knots, macrame is. Simple cord it begins. With patience and purpose, intertwined it becomes. No tools of metal do you require. Only your hands, and the fiber.
I thought one of my moon necklaces would be a great background for this fun post. I can’t take credit for writing this (google did it). What a fun and perfect way to describe macrame 😁❤️
