Hello friends, as we start 2026, I would like to take a moment to look back on 2025. It was the year of the Snake, a time of growth, transformation, and renewal. This process, though often painful, is essential for progress.

On a personal level, 2025 presented significant challenges, and I believe many others faced similar struggles.
I established Magnolia Magik to create beautiful, affordable art. While my primary job provides financial stability for my daily life, Magnolia Magik fuels my heart and soul.
However, the rising costs of materials and vendor fees have made it increasingly difficult to sustain the business, affecting not only myself but also my loyal customers.
I want to assure you that I am not closing Magnolia Magik, but I do need to step back, reassess, and find new ways to maintain the business's accessibility and affordability. I am committed to finding a solution.

Thank you to all that has beautiful butterflies covering their walls and shelfs and whimsy candles lining their counters and window seals šŸ–¤

Iā€™ve been asked a lot when my next show is and unfortunately I think I pretty much gave up my holiday season to run the food pantry. Usually the shows I do in November pays for my shows in Decemberā€¦ so at this point I canā€™t afford the vendor fees. Just how it goes sometimes. I will be trying to fit into a few smaller shows but not sure how itā€™s going to work out.

I donā€™t regret at all doing the food pantry but I do love the holiday shows and Iā€™m super bummed I have to miss them this year.
