Jana Donohoe has been designing for over 15 years. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham. She creates spaces that feel casually tailored, sophisticated yet relaxed, and above all else livable. She believes that your home should reflect your personal style and also be a wellspring of comfort and inspiration. Jana strives to create spaces that are soulful, satisfying and imbued with a classic, timeless appeal. Her process always starts with listening to the clients. “It is important that my clients’ personality is able to be seen in their space.” She believes that a projects success is ultimately defined by the client’s satisfaction. Every one of Jana’s projects has her complete attention and involvement from concept to finish. Growing up in eastern Oregon has had a lasting impact on the way Jana approaches her work today. Oregon’s backdrop of beautiful mountains and lakes instilled her with a healthy appreciation for her surroundings at an early age. This appreciation is reflected in her commitment to using sustainable materials and using vintage pieces in her design.

I’m tired. I think we’re all tired!?

Tired of keeping up with algorithms. Tired of trying to stay visible as small business owners. We’re tired of feeling like every post needs to be optimized, explained, and turned into a carousel.

Can we bring back the old ways?

This room was very controversial during the renovation. 😂

The painters thought they had the wrong color. The contractor wasn’t quite sure what to think. And let’s just say this was a highly talked about room throughout the process.

I kept saying, “Y’all just wait. She’s going to come together.”

And she did.

Now it’s a mahjong room, tea room, study and sitting room, but more than anything, it’s one of those spaces that makes an impression the second you walk through the front door.

This was a prime example of trust the process. 💚

I love designing spaces that don’t feel obligated to follow the expected aesthetic of their surroundings. No rustic, no mountain lodge, no predictable Colorado palette. Just a classic, collected room with soft blue textural wallpaper, botanical prints, marble and warm brass.
