Today’s artist feature is 🤍

One of the most special things about opening this store was being able to reach out to all of the wonderful people I’ve met over the years at makers markets.

I met Shino at a market in Kingston, where she was my market neighbor, and I fell in love with her designs immediately. She makes each garment from start to finish — weaving, dyeing, sewing, every step by hand. I couldn’t leave that weekend without one (see the fourth photo 😄).

And on top of her extraordinary craft, she is one of the kindest, most genuine human beings — which makes everything she makes feel even more precious. Her pieces aren’t just clothing, they’re treasures.

✨ It’s been such a whirlwind these past few months bringing together the work of so many incredible local artists — and we couldn’t be more grateful. Each week, we’re excited to introduce you to one of them.

🌲 First up:
Based right here in Roscoe, NY, this local woodworker is creating something truly special. Every piece begins as a fallen tree on their own property — gathered, shaped, and finished entirely by hand, start to finish. No shortcuts. No imports. Just honest, beautiful work rooted in the Catskills.

We are so honored to carry their pieces in the shop. Come see them in person — they really do stop you in your tracks.

Hey everyone! Don’t forget this weekend to come by makers market in Callicoon!

The market will be held at Delaware Youth Center and Callicoon Apple Barn, both on Creamery Rd. with a 4-minute walk between the venues.

Market hours are:
- Saturday, November 11, 11 AM to 5 PM
- Sunday, November 12, 11 AM to 4 PM

I have some big news! I am so excited to share that a chapbook of my poems was published today with Bottlecap Press! I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever been so excited!

I’ve always loved poetry and writing but until recently never put it into the world. I am so thankful for all the love and support from my family and friends. Thank you for encouraging me to have the courage to pursue my dreams.
