Masculine, tailored, and designed with purpose.

What a fun project this was designing a perfect space for a super cool The University of Alabama student! His amazing apartment at MY HOUSE on 13th, only a few minutes walk from , was one of our favorite projects this month!

Designed for a University of Alabama student who brought his Texas roots to Tuscaloosa, we wanted to incorporate all his passions into his new room. We layered warm leather textiles, soft grays, cozy textures, and timeless neutrals to create a space that feels sophisticated, comfortable, and distinctly masculine—fit for a true southern gentleman!

A curated combination of Texas and Tuscaloosa inspired decor tells a little bit of his story. Adding in subtle aviation pieces, cowhide rugs, and The University of Alabama landmark photographs tied this space together perfectly.

With a business-minded spirit and his eyes on the sky, we wanted his new “home away from home” to feel collected, personal, and ready for whatever goals he chooses to chase!

Texas roots. Bama bound. Built for big dreams. ✈️🐘

✨ New Project Reveal: The Brewer ✨

Every great design starts with a story... and this one has a good one.

We’re excited to begin transforming The Brewer, a former law office in the heart of Livingston, Alabama, into a one-of-a-kind Airbnb full of character, warmth, and timeless style.

What was once a space filled with case files and law books is becoming a welcoming retreat where guests can slow down and experience the charm of small-town Alabama.

This is the definition of a drab-to-fab renovation, and we can’t wait to bring new life to every room while honoring the history of the building.

Follow along as we take this historic space from outdated to unforgettable—one design decision at a time.

Stay tuned for behind-the-scenes progress, renovation updates, and the final reveal. We promise... you won’t believe the before and after!

When designing Big Mike’s Steakhouse, every detail is designed to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels equal parts upscale and comfortably Southern. Rich stained wood walls, exposed beams, and customized decor bring warmth and character, while black ceilings and charcoal walls add a bold, modern edge. Industrial lighting, corrugated metal accents, and handcrafted details create the perfect balance of rustic and refined.

Throughout the space, cattle photography, western-inspired artwork, and iconic longhorn mounts pay tribute to the ranching heritage that inspires the brand. The centerpiece bar, framed by whitewashed brick and warm wood tones, creates a welcoming gathering place, while cozy booths and open seating invite guests to settle in and stay awhile.

From the first impression to the last bite, Big Mike’s was designed to feel like your favorite steakhouse from day one — timeless, authentic, and unmiSTEAKably memorable. 🥃🔥🐂

Where design meets the runway✈️

The goal for this new lobby at Demoplis Regional Airport was to feel less like a waiting area and more like a welcoming lounge experience. Rich leather seating, warm wood tones, clean architectural lines, and aviation-inspired artwork create a space that feels sophisticated, timeless, and connected to the spirit of flight.

The mix of modern industrial elements and comfortable gathering spaces was intentional—giving travelers a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the journey before the destination. From the tufted navy couch to the vintage aircraft prints, every detail was selected to honor aviation history while providing a polished, contemporary atmosphere.

Because great design should make every arrival and departure feel first class. ✈️🛋️

Another beach house inspo to brighten your day ☀️

This serene design proves that coastal style isn’t only seashell cutouts and a sign that says “leave your flip flops at the door”—it’s about natural textures, calming color palettes, and pops of coastal accents.

What’s your favorite detail—the woven headboard, layered bedding, or the watercolor coastal artwork? ⛵️

Coastal Calm & Timeless Comfort

A bedroom should be more than just a place to sleep—it should feel like a retreat. This space layers of coastal blues, warm natural wood tones, and collected textures to create a room that feels fresh, timeless, and effortlessly relaxing.

The beauty is in the details: coastal artwork, cozy layered bedding, and a calming color palette that brings the feeling of the coast home—no matter where you live.

Emily G. Collection believed every home (and vacation home) deserves to be beautiful, inviting, and thoughtfully curated to reflect the people who live there and visit!

Would you want to wake up in this room? 🌊
