We love mythical creatures, especially chimera types like this Enfield. They are an Irish heraldic creatures said to be the guardians of chieftains and/or leaders who have fallen in battle. And we just think that's neat. So here's our take on one as a sketchbook cover with the back being that of a damaged helmet.

It also includes a lathe-turned piston pen with various woods combined for a unique appearance.

The weather is warming up, and the Legitimate Goods Company is ready to outfit your furry friends with only the finest summer gear! 😎 While we've regularly carried pet collars in the past, we really proud of how this special pet commission turned out.

Luca is an incredibly talented -and incredibly adorable- service dog belonging to one of our clients. They asked us to create leather Service Vest for their irreplaceable companion that would match their gown for the Renaissance Festival and seamlessly blend them into the medeival backdrop.

The vest features several hanging D-rings, for clip-on accessories, a buttoned pocket to hide modern waste bags, and a secret coin pocket for Luca to hold his vast wealth!

This was such a fun piece! Please give us more pet-related projects! 🤩

Due to Noel's obsession with masks, he decided to make additional styles aside from just the plague doctors and bird masks. 🐦 So here is 4 new ones that'll be in the shop as we start getting ready for the 2026 season.

Our first event will actually be in 2 weeks at the Buffalo Riverworks with on April 11th!

Did you know that even our flower crowns can be custom ordered? This was by far my favorite crowns I've ever made! And the little dragon figures we added make the whole piece feel so opulent without losing the whimsy!

When we say we make crowns, we mean that you are going to feel like ROYALTY when you wear one 🤩👑

To celebrate a new year here's a showcase of what we worked on throughout the holiday season! While this doesn't include our new friend Mari Lwyd these are all the gifts we got made and out the door! We hope everyone liked what they recieved from us! And we hope we keep on making more things for others to love.

For most of our Christmas commissions, its still a couple days too early to show off everything we came up with this holiday season - lest we ruin the surprise of the gifts. BUT we can give you a sneak peak at one of our projects since the recipient is too young to have social media!

We've inadvertently instilled a love of sword fighting in our neighbor's son. So for Christmas, we decided to make a custom wooden sword and scabbard for him! We used his favorite color combo (red and black), and hand painted a cat motif on the leather in honor of his new kitten.

Fingers crossed that our little knight in training finds his new blade to be suitable for a warrior of his standing!

Looks like we've garnered quite the reputation for our bird themed masks, and we are so pumped about it!

Every single feather on the masquerade style masks was painstakingly hand tooled with literally thousands of texture marks.

And we got to try out a fun new metalic specialty leather on one of our classic plague mask designs, too!

Any ideas what kind of mask we should try next?

This Saturday, Oct 18, we'll be vending at the Qryptids, Qreatures, and Qu**rs show. Be sure to get your tickets before they're gone!

The following weekend, Oct 25 and 26, you can find us at the Oddities and Witchy Wares Artisan Market.

It's restock season! 🌼🌹🌸

For the next 6 months Noel and I will be hard at work churning out fan favorites and developing patterns and designs for brand new creations we'll be debuting this spring!

Since we'll be locked away in the studio anyways, this is the perfect time to commission something unique and fantastical from the Legitimate Goods Company! Whether a heartfelt gift for someone this holiday season, or a special treat for yourself, we've got you covered!

September was a crazy month! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us at our events in Hannibal, St Louis, and Lockport! We still have one more event for our vending season. We'll be vending at the Witchy Wares market at Life is Succulent, October 25th and 26th.

Over the last month we've had a huge increase in the number of custom pieces commissioned from us. So we thought we'd showcase one of our most elaborate painted pieces, to really show the extent of what we can do. If you can describe it to us, we can make it in leather!
