I’m Emily, and I am the owner of Sif & Sugar. I am a wife to the love of my life, Christopher, and mother to our three beautiful children, Emilia, Jameson, and Lorelei. I am very blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. I always say that being a mom is my day job, and baking is my night job, although a mother’s work is never done 😉 With that being said, I take a limited amount of orders so my family can

still be my top priority 🤍

My journey into cookie decorating began in September 2023 after I dislocated my pelvis while having my third baby. Looking for activities with my toddlers that didn’t involve getting up and down from the floor, I discovered baking. My oldest showed interest at first, but while she loved eating cookie dough and sprinkles, I found my passion in decorating. Creating delicious custom sugar cookies brings me so much happiness, and I can’t wait to be a part of your next special event. Thank you for supporting my small business!

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to celebrate with families again and again. 🤍

I’ve had the joy of creating for this sweet family for multiple years now and watching their milestones unfold is such a gift.

This Tangled-inspired birthday included custom cookies, cupcakes, and a vintage heart cake in soft lavender and sunshine yellow. 💜☀️✨

Creating custom desserts is so much more than making something pretty.

Sabrina and I talked through every detail of this cake together. She loved the romantic vintage piping and chose real hydrangeas, but wanted them soft and delicate—not oversized.

When I sent her the finished cake before pickup, she texted me, “OMG are you kidding me?!?! I’m obsessed!” 🥹

Meanwhile, I spent the rest of the day thinking:

“Please don’t wilt. Please don’t wilt. Please don’t wilt.” 😂

Thankfully, the hydrangeas made it, the cake was a huge hit, and hearing how much everyone loved it made me so happy.

These are the moments that make me love what I do every single time.

Tiny cake. Big celebration. 💙

It feels like just yesterday I was making a cake for Rikki’s baby shower, and somehow we’re already celebrating her little girl’s first birthday.

I absolutely loved this theme. Rikki (owner of ) created the sweetest handmade highchair banner, and every detail of the setup was so thoughtfully done. The denim, daisies, gingham, and berry accents came together beautifully.

Getting to be a small part of these family milestones is something I’ll never take for granted.

Also, can we talk about toddlers and berries for a second? Because from what I heard, those blueberries were a huge hit. 😂🫐
