This is such an underrated tool in the shop. The 4x36, or if you’ve got the funds, a 6x48. Perfect for getting your flats a little more flat. If you build knives without plunge lines, and you hate hand sanding, this tool is a must. This little Wen brand 4x36 has been a staple in my shop for years. I’m pretty sure it’s about to explode, so when it does, I’ll upgrade to a 6x48.

Assembling my second .us Apollo forge to help make my classes flow a bit easier. This forge isn’t super inexpensive, but it’s a great design that’s easy to build, very fuel efficient, and the ribbon burner is whisper quiet. 100% recommended.
