Someone went through our metal on the side of the building and took our headers.
PLEASE RETURN THEM!

Although we have a mess that may look like trash, it was NOT trash and not anyone’s to take what they wanted.

Edit to add: We are truly hoping this was someone not meaning to steal. They simply thought it was trash. We’re just hoping it comes back. 😭

What a wonderful day celebrating Lohman’s history and spending time with neighbors, family, and friends.

We enjoyed a beautiful service at Stringtown Lutheran, a delicious chicken and pork steak lunch at the Lohman Community Building, and great conversations with so many amazing people at the Market House.

Jim and Eve Campbell have done an absolutely incredible job carrying on Patty’s work in preserving Lohman’s history — and they certainly had big shoes to fill. We will always miss Patty and her love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her community and church.

Start your day with a Patriotic Worship Service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on the Hill at 9:00 a.m.

Enjoy a delicious meal at the Lohman Lions Club BBQ — dine‑in or carryout — beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Center.

Explore local history at The Great Historical Event, open to everyone upstairs in the Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Grab dinner and treats at St. Paul’s Church Food Stand, serving hot dogs, nachos, root b**r floats, pie, soda, and water starting at 6:00 p.m.

Hear the 250‑Year Proclamation Reading by Senator Mike Bernskoetter at 7:00 p.m. on the front steps of St. Paul’s Church on the Hill.

End the night with a bang — FIREWORKS at St. Paul’s Church around 9:00 p.m.

We’re thrilled to introduce Mostly Meg as the floral heart of 1882 Market House. Meghan grows her blooms on a family flower farm in Lohman that quite literally bumps up against our own land — making this partnership feel as natural as the ridge line we share. Her arrangements are seasonal, thoughtful, and full of the color that makes a space feel alive.

This is a true family operation, with Meghan, her husband Ryan, and their son Grady all tending the rows and bringing beauty to life. We’re so excited to welcome them into our story and can’t wait for you to enjoy their flowers inside the mercantile.
