All my local crafter friends! Such a cool opportunity

The Garden Shoppe has big news! We have the opportunity to expand our store into the space next door that was Cold Coast Brewery! So that would mean room for more vendors and an idea we have for having a space dedicated to a craft Faire situation where local crafters can sell their goods in their own space on weekends and events like Flower festival, Old Town market etc.
If you are one of those folks who has been waiting for The Garden Shoppe to have openings please message us and let us know.
We are trying to decide if we have enough folks interested. We have some cool ideas for the very large space, and we are excited with this new adventure.
So send me a message if you want more info or you’re wanting to jump on board before all the space is gone!

To make art on a chalkboard there are steps you have to take to prepare your surface. I really love making these boards. Hand-lettering has always been fascinating to me. Penmenship never came easily and I was always jealous of the people who just had beautiful writing. I’m sure the fascination started from me watching my grandmother (Frances Jane Longley). I loved watching her measure out and mark her art when it included words. This board for Bad Back BBQ took me about 3 hours to complete once I started. It’s not perfect, but it was so fun to use some of the techniques I’ve learned. It will be hard to erase this one when the time comes.

Local I❤️Lompoc restock!
Thank you to everyone that came out and supported me and the other amazing vendors at The Garden Shoppe Lompoc through the holiday season. I have added more mugs, stickers, and magnets. I’m working on a new surf beach design to replace the old one. Had a special request for the old A&W. I took a picture of the Lompoc Restaurant (A-Frame) before it was torn down to draw. Anyone have fond memories of locally owned or any landmarks that they’d like to see included? Let me know in the comments ⬇️

I couldn’t figure out how to share my sweet friend Sue Hammer’s post so I took a screenshot 😄 I love that my mugs and magnets are near and far! I love it even more that they bring a smile and rekindle happy memories of living in Lompoc. I’d love to see if you have a mug where you are. Post it down in the comments!
