I am selling my suburban homestead in Lompoc...THere is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with hardwood floors, a two car garage with lots of attic storage, many many fruit trees that provide a succession of fruit throughout the year, organic garden beds and composting area, a quiet safe neighborhood that borders a nature preserve with miles of hiking and even a small lake to walk to. There is also a park across the street with oak trees, picnic tables, grassy area and playground. It is seldom used and very quiet. Elementary and wonderful high school are in walking distance. The last pomegranate hangs on the tree and the garden is full of winter greens. The rains have already begun and I am feeling the turning of the seasons and a deep gratefulness for the preciousness of this life and the abundance of this earth. Here is picture of a garden salad with winter greens, borage flowers, pomegranate seeds, chopped almonds and avocado! SO delicious AND nutritious!
