October has a way of making your kitchen feel like the heart of the whole house again. 🎃🍂

The counters get styled. The oven gets used. People actually gather around the island instead of rushing past it. There's something about this season that slows everything down in the best possible way.

What's the first thing you cook when fall finally arrives? 🍁

3 ways to make your dining room feel ready for fall entertaining. 🍂

- Add a statement light fixture overhead. It sets the mood for every meal and every gathering.
- Layer a rug under your table. It grounds the space and adds warmth that hard floors can't.
- Style your table between meals. Even just a vase and a candle signals that the space is worth gathering around.

I'm seeing an uptick in a trend that I cannot believe! You will never guess what it is..... VERTICAL BLINDS & METAL BLINDS! We just got a new Vertical Blind book from Hunter Douglas and there are some downright beautiful fabrics and vinyls in the line. These are great for Patio Doors or a whole wall of windows.
The Metal Blinds are very modern and they have made a black 2" metal vane that is great in all these black windows being installed. That way the back of the blind facing the road blends in with the window itself. If you need a new Vertical Blind or Metal Blind, give us a call!

Dynamic, serene, and breathtaking, Avance Cabinetry’s new finish, Cloudbreak, demands attention within any space it swells into.

Cloudbreak reflects the iconic surf of Fiji, creating a truly unforgettable tone that elevates every room. This soft blue pairs well with light oak cabinets and white finishes for a look that is as luxurious as a tropical island villa.

October personality type: bought pumpkin-shaped mugs, a fall candle, AND a seasonal table runner all before October even started. 🕯️🎃

There is no such thing as too much fall decor. The science simply does not support it. ✨

Deep, moody and full of character, this flatlay feels like a well-aged Cabernet waiting to be opened.

Dark oak cabinetry lays down a dramatic base reminiscent of charred French Oak barrels, while the burgundy backsplash echoes the rich tone of pressed grapes. Subtle veined counters and warm beige flooring balance the heavy tones, capturing the sun-bleached cobblestones of a vineyard courtyard. Sleek polished brass fixtures brighten the space, catching and reflecting light like a golden foil-wrapped vintage.

Uncork this look for yourself:
Cabinets: JSI Cabinetry Essex Haven
Tile: Zia Tile Sumac
Countertops: Riviere Rose
Flooring: Industrial Cinder Rail
Faucet: Purist in Brass

One of the easiest ways to shift your home into fall mode: swap summer stems for dried botanicals. 🌿

Dried eucalyptus, pampas grass, and neutral grasses last for months, require zero maintenance, and bring a warmth and texture to any surface that feels perfectly seasonal without being overdone.

Bathroom counter, nightstand, entryway shelf, it works anywhere.🙌
