A miracle happened… I actually talked Richard into taking a day off work to go antiquing in Maine! 😂🙌
We started in York, made our way through Wells and Ogunquit, and ended up in Kennebunk at a place called House of Parts. And let me tell you… we hit the jackpot!
This place is FILLED with architectural salvage, old hardware, and the kinds of treasures that make Richard forget all about the clock. To say he was in heaven would be an understatement! 🤩
The best find? Some very old hardware for the custom door he’s building for the Old North Church in Boston! How exciting that these pieces of the past will become part of such a special project? ❤️
A day exploring Maine, hunting for treasures, and spending time together… I’m calling that a win! Although I did have to laugh—only Richard could take a day off work and still find something for his next project! 😂
Now to convince him that “antiquing in Maine” needs to be a regular date on our calendar! 😉
