The kitchen is always where everyone ends up.

On LBI, it’s burgers from on the counter, a seafood spread from , coffee from the next morning, and someone running out for bagels from before everyone else is awake.

It’s kids coming in sandy and sunburnt, grandparents pouring a drink, someone setting out tomatoes and mozzarella, and everyone somehow leaning around the island even though there’s an entire house to sit in.

That’s always the priority for me when designing homes here. Not just making it beautiful, but making sure it actually lives well for the way families use it. Easy flow, room to gather, spaces that feel welcoming, and kitchens that can handle real life in the middle of summer.

The best homes on LBI aren’t about perfection. They’re about tradition. The same people coming back year after year, the same meals, the same routines, and the memories that get made in between.

Four more weeks until MDW and summer on LBI is right around the corner. You can feel it already. ✨

I’m hiringgggg!!✨

I’m looking for a part-time, year-round Studio Operations Coordinator local to Long Beach Island to help keep both my projects (and me 😅) organized.

This role is a mix of studio operations, procurement, project coordination, site visits, installs, and all of the behind-the-scenes details that keep projects moving and the client experience feeling seamless.

If you’re highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and love both beautiful spaces and making chaos look calm, we’ll probably get along very well.

Please send a brief introduction, relevant experience, and your availability to [email protected].

And if someone comes to mind, I’d be so grateful if you shared this 🤍

Windows down, playlist on, coffee in hand. Crossing the bridge and suddenly it’s all salt air, sun on your skin, and nowhere you need to be.

Same trip, every summer. Still hits every time.

If you know, you know 🤍

I feel like I’m constantly trying to come up with a name for my style… and nothing ever quite fits.

It’s coastal, but not in an obvious way.
It’s contemporary, but still has personality.
It’s layered, lived-in, a little bit playful… but still pulled together.

Honestly, it’s less about what it’s called and more about how it feels.

Like you walk in, exhale a little, and everything just works for the way you actually live.

So for now, we’re just going with “whatever this is called.” Unless you have ideas? 🌊

You’ve been coming to LBI for years. Maybe decades. And now you’re finally building the house you’ve always talked about.

The excitement, gratitude, and anticipation is full force. And so is the overwhelm.

Because it’s no longer just the idea of it. It’s every decision. Tile, cabinetry, lighting, furniture. All needing to come together, often while you’re balancing work, kids, activities, and life off the island.

This is the part no one really prepares you for. Not having a vision, but translating it into something that actually feels cohesive, thoughtful, and finished.

That’s where I come in. To bring clarity to the process, create a clear plan, and make sure every decision works together from the start. Especially in coastal homes, where durability, function, and flow matter just as much as how it looks.

So when you walk in, it doesn’t feel like a collection of decisions. It feels like your home. Calm, complete, and ready for the next chapter.

If you’re building or renovating on Long Beach Island or along the Jersey Shore, this is exactly where thoughtful interior design makes all the difference.

Spring is starting to peek through and you can feel it out here. The island is waking up again. Shops opening their doors, bikes back on the streets, that first warm breeze coming through the windows.

This primary suite was designed for exactly that shift. Slower mornings, longer light, doors cracked open just enough to hear the bay. Layers that feel calm and easy after a full day in the sun.

It’s one of my favorite parts of designing on LBI, creating spaces that hold both the quiet and the energy of summer. A place to land at the end of the day and start it again the next morning, a little slower.

We’re getting so close to the season. 🌊

Beach walks + zero self control, if I’m honest 🐚

If there’s a shell, I’m picking it up. Color, pattern, texture… I notice all of it. And that way of seeing things, it shows up in every space I design.

This is where it really comes in handy to be part mermaid. ✨

tile day = my version of a perfect day

spent hours sourcing for a full home and I swear I could have stayed there all day. pulling combinations, mixing textures, playing with scale, seeing how everything starts to come together… it never gets old

tile is one of those things people don’t realize the impact of until it’s done right. it can completely make a space

and when you start layering it thoughtfully? that’s when it gets really good

forever in my happy place here 🤍

Every beach house project starts the same way for me… and it’s never with furniture.

Before I pull a single sample or open a single catalog, I’m thinking about the light. The materials. How the family is actually going to live in the space. Who’s hosting Thanksgiving, who’s tracking sand in from the beach, where everyone is going to land at the end of a long summer day.

That’s the part nobody really sees. But it’s the part that makes everything else work.

Swipe through to see what’s actually on my mind before a project even gets started.

And if you’re building or renovating on LBI and want someone who thinks about all of it before the fun stuff even begins… you know where to find me. 🌊
