And the CLOTHES!! 😍 I finally made it through them, and I am so ready for some fall weather. There are so many cute new pieces, and for the first time I’m actually really excited to shop my own clothes and figure out what I’m going to wear for Apple Fest! 🍂

🍎 DAY 3 OF 8 is DONE! 🍎

The water globes are officially SHINING, and some are even singing! ✨A few of them have the option to play music, and seeing this whole display lit up finally makes it feel like Christmas is starting to arrive at the shop!

And the CLOTHES!! I finally made it through them, and I am so ready for some fall weather. There are so many cute new pieces, and for the first time I’m actually really excited to shop my own clothes and figure out what I’m going to wear for Apple Fest!

My weight loss journey has given me so much more confidence to wear the clothes from my own boutique and represent my shop, and that feels pretty special. ❤️

I will say, it’s sometimes hard to feel like I’m making progress when I look around and still see SO MUCH that needs to get done. 😂 I know I’ve accomplished a lot over the last 3 days, but my brain just keeps seeing everything that’s left!

I also know once I start changing over the tables, it’s all going to start falling into place. That’s the BIG project for Monday and Tuesday, and I think that’s when you’ll really start seeing the shop transform into the Halloween, fall & Christmas wonderland I have pictured in my head.

Would you guys want to see more of the behind-the-scenes of that process? 👀 I can show you how I actually take apart the tables, decide what goes where, move everything around 100 times and build the displays from start to finish!

3 days down, 5 to go! 🍎

Tomorrow we keep going, and then Monday the REAL transformation begins! ✨

But today also came with a little detour that I’m really glad I took. 💕

I got to help one of my friends set up a birthday surprise for a fellow shop owner who has become like family. 🎈🎂 It was actually really nice to step away from my own shop for a few hours, have some fun, and focus on something completely different.

Sometimes the to-do list can wait for a few hours. ❤️

🍎 DAY 2 OF 8 🍎

I can definitely say Day 2 didn’t go exactly how I thought it would… 😂

The plan was to tackle ALL of the clothes today. I didn’t quite make it, but I’m about halfway through! There is already a whole lot more fall and Christmas making its way onto the racks. The rest will be finished up first thing tomorrow morning!

But today also came with a little detour that I’m really glad I took. 💕

I got to help one of my friends set up a birthday surprise for a fellow shop owner who has become like family. 🎂 It was actually really nice to step away from my own shop for a few hours, have some fun, and focus on something completely different.

Sometimes the to-do list can wait for a few hours. ❤️

So Day 2 may not have gone according to plan, but progress was still made and tomorrow we’re right back at it!

It might not look like a HUGE transformation yet, but I actually got through a TON of boxes today!! 🙌

One of the biggest projects was getting all of these new Christmas water globes unpacked and out on the floor. And there are SO many good ones this year!! 😍

I think the carousel might be my favorite so far! 🎠🎄 Which one is yours?!

And just wait until you see them all lit up!! I have batteries coming tomorrow so I can finally turn ALL of them on. ✨

It might not look like a HUGE transformation yet, but I actually got through a TON of boxes today!! 🙌

One of the biggest projects was getting all of these new Christmas water globes unpacked and out on the floor. And there are SO many good ones this year!! 😍

Tomorrow for Day 2, I’m taking on the CLOTHES. 😳👚 I have a feeling this is going to be a big one. Time to get summer OUT and fall & holiday IN!

The countdown to Apple Fest is officially ON, and I have 8 days to completely transform Rachael’s Whimsical Boutique! 😅

Right now, there is A LOT to do, but by Apple Fest this shop is going to be a Halloween, fall AND Christmas wonderland. 🎃🍂🎄

Over the next 8 days, I’m taking you along for all of it. The boxes, the mess, the displays, the decorating, and hopefully a whole lot of progress!

Well… the bridge got another one last night.

This RV hit the bridge and definitely got the worst end of the deal! From what I could see, there was no damage to the bridge, but it looked like the RV lost part of what I’m assuming was the AC unit on top.

They did stop long enough to pick up the pieces that came off. I yelled for them to stop, but I guess getting out of town was more important because they picked it up, got back in, and took off.

The bridge remains undefeated.

A little peek at what I’m getting ready for Thursday night! 👀💕

I picked out a few Stonewall Kitchen favorites to open up and sample in the boutique, because shopping is always a little more fun when there are snacks involved! 😂

Strawberry Jam, Wild Maine Blueberry Jam, and Red Pepper Jelly are all on the menu!

Now I just need to know...which one are you trying first?! 🤠
