What a whirlwind this month has been! 🌬️

It’s non stop with the weather warming up and everything in bloom!

I took a trip with my dad to Memphis and Nashville to celebrate his 80th birthday. 🎂

I can’t recommend visiting these places enough! We really enjoyed going to the Grand Ole Opry which just celebrated its 100th year and seeing Graceland - Elvis had some eclectic taste!

Our Winter Park project is humming along and we’ve got a few other bathroom and landscape projects in the works. 

Looking forward to more fun in May! ✨

This ONE design choice is crucial for making this project feel like a dream home. 🏡

The initial design of this ski home in Winter Park felt very contemporary and a little cold.

Our clients wanted to achieve a more cozy, Austrian Ski Chalet vibe.

This led us to add pine on multiple surfaces throughout the home. It started with ceilings, walls, interior doors, and window trim, and then we began incorporating a similar feel into the flooring and cabinetry.

The pine ties everything together in this home and already adds a layer of warmth to the space. ✨

We are so excited to see it completed late this summer!

When it comes to color matching, we’re more limited with landscapes than interiors. 💼

For example, we want to know our color choices will work before ordering in bulk.

We love using crusher fines, or “breeze”, in our designs. It’s a nice material to fill around pavers and provide hardscape without the hardness of gravel or the decomposition of mulch.

So, I will visit (our local source for most of our hardscape materials) to pull samples. This will give us what we need to compare different materials and ensure everyone is happy with the final selections in our design.

For this project, we love the combination of tan breeze with the sepia-colored pavers. ✨

It’s always better to see things in person than a photo online!

This project is so fun! 🎉

We’re working with to design a major bathroom refresh. We’re adding new tile, plumbing fixtures, painted cabinetry, lighting, and countertops.

But our favorite part is replacing their built-in with a freestanding tub, which will serve as a focal point in front of the large picture window. ✨

March was filled with kicking off new landscape projects and wrapping up ones from the Fall, tackling some new bathrooms, and making major headway on our Winter Park project! 🏡

We celebrated Oliver’s and Preston’s birthdays 🎂 this month and had a great time connecting with friends we haven’t seen in a few months!

Even though we didn’t have as harsh a winter this year, I’m looking forward to the spring and everything greening up!

This project is a perfect example of how a narrow space can have a big impact if the design is thoughtful and well-planned. ✨

It was exciting to help our clients transform this small area into a space where they can grill and sit around their fire pit all summer long!

Since we wrapped up at the end of 2025, we’ll have to come back in the spring to install the plants. 🌿
