When your landscape designer and your builder actually talk to each other, beauty happens.

This Boulder landscape was a big undertaking, and we want to tell you all about it. 🫶🏻

We completed this project in tandem with the entire home remodel, working cohesively with the builder and our clients to ensure various points of egress, along with clear views from the inside of the home to the landscape.

The indoor pool opens to a large patio that includes a lounge area along with dining space and an outdoor kitchen. We installed cantilever umbrellas to provide shade during the hot summer months and an outdoor shower to cool off from the indoor sauna.

As one of our main goals, we created an inviting entrance to the home by marrying the house to the ground plane with soft landscaping. We planted a variety of shrubs and perennials for color and interest as the seasons change.

Lighting around the entire home illuminates the pathways our clients and their friends will use in the evening.

And finally, the biggest change to the existing landscape came with replacing vertical timbers with new granite boulders. This will keep the existing berms retained but allow for the root systems of the large pines and spruces to expand and breathe.

We could not be happier with how the entire project turned out! ✨

GDG was proud to sponsor the 2026 Peggy Classic Polo Tournament! 🏇

The event was held at Cortijo Mira Vista and Mira Vista Polo this past weekend. Preston used a laser engraver to customize prizes for all 4 teams. We had a fun time participating in the tournament ourselves!

Congrats to Lilian Shea Law Office for taking first and TANA POLO for placing second!

Thank you to Mira Vista Polo Club for hosting us this weekend and for the amazing play by all teams in the tournament!

This month’s Style to Snag makes your home feel like it has a story to tell 📖

Rustic is all about incorporating natural materials, both aged and raw, to create a comfortable, cozy environment.

You should feel like you’re in a cabin in the woods where life is simple, and imperfection is highlighted.

Think warm earth tones, reclaimed wood, fluffy wool, and distressed leather.

Check out our selections for an elevated approach to Rustic Design for a Dining Room and Bar. ✨

What a whirlwind this month has been! 🌬️

It’s non stop with the weather warming up and everything in bloom!

I took a trip with my dad to Memphis and Nashville to celebrate his 80th birthday. 🎂

I can’t recommend visiting these places enough! We really enjoyed going to the Grand Ole Opry which just celebrated its 100th year and seeing Graceland - Elvis had some eclectic taste!

Our Winter Park project is humming along and we’ve got a few other bathroom and landscape projects in the works.

Looking forward to more fun in May! ✨

This ONE design choice is crucial for making this project feel like a dream home. 🏡

The initial design of this ski home in Winter Park felt very contemporary and a little cold.

Our clients wanted to achieve a more cozy, Austrian Ski Chalet vibe.

This led us to add pine on multiple surfaces throughout the home. It started with ceilings, walls, interior doors, and window trim, and then we began incorporating a similar feel into the flooring and cabinetry.

The pine ties everything together in this home and already adds a layer of warmth to the space. ✨

We are so excited to see it completed late this summer!
