We have a small change to hours this fall. Now open Tuesdays and closed Sundays. Remember we are always open to by appointment shopping so if you can’t make it during our normal hours we are happy to schedule a time that works for you!!

This week is one of my favorite weeks. Gem and mineral dealers descend on Colorado for A variety of trade shows. My favorite part of the week is catching up with our good friends (and family) from Blue Bead & Rock Shop LLC. and Shane Zach. They bring amazing treasures all the way from Wisconsin. Both sourced and created their moonstone, jade, fluorite and other earth made delights are top notch. Check them out at the National western conference on the second floor in booth 47. Or come to the Curio Cabin where we proudly sell their wares!

One of my favorite parts about traveling is discovering the amazing places and kindred spirits that spark the wonder inside of me. On my trip to Philly this weekend I experienced just that at Anastacia's Antiques. Truly one of the most wondrous shops I’ve ever been privileged to experience. Curated thoughtful for over 40years by Stacy and Scott I didn’t get to spend nearly enough time there and it will be my first stop on my next visit to Philadelphia. If you make it to the city of brotherly love do not miss this treasure.

We aren’t just bringing amazing books to the Rocky Mountain Book and Paper Fair. We will have an amazing selection of vintage and antique paper ephemera arts. Including plate prints, Real photo postcards, rewards of merit, maps and more dating back to the 18th century and earlier. Come visit us at booth G2 this Friday and Saturday!

We are ramping up for the Rocky Mountain Book and Paper Fair on Aug 14-15! We will be preview some of the goodies we will be offering in the coming days. Check out what we found in storage today! We are so excited to have Kari Swenson’s beautiful work on the walls at The Curio Cabin! Come check them out and take one home, I know I am.

Wrapping up these beauties to send with my husband to Colorado tomorrow. They will be for sale at the Curio Cabin in Lyons, Colorado and just in time for the Rocky Grass Festival this weekend and Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in a few weeks. 🍄❤️🍄‍🟫

We are excited to announce our second Featured Artist, Jerry Allison. On view now at the Curio Cabin are works from his stunning “Nature Morte” portfolio. Photographs that are both stark and iconic, skirting the line between formalism and totemic icons, these images need to be experienced in person. The work draws from the stark and vast western landscape, he brings the sun bleached remains into the studio and composing them in arrangements that are both aesthetically pleasing and thought provoking. Jerry then returns the bones to their place in the wilderness. Come experience them in person at the Curio Cabin.
